Christian Lacroix Goes Bust

Recommended Posts

The high-fashion brand was launched by Christian Lacroix 22 years ago and has become well-known for its colourful gypsy-themed clothes.

However, the business has never been a financial success. The Lacroix fashion house has never turned a profit and last year reported a €10 million loss.

What a load of Shite

22 years, each year a loss.

----

Each business that is left from today better have a good look at their balance sheets. No one will be throwing money down a rat hole that is never to give a return to the investor.

If you haven't turned a profit, you better look for an escape route as time is running out fast.

I know half a dozen fashion designers working for world famous brands. Rude, smug, superior bulls to a man / woman who think 'house prices always go up.' Hope loads more of these companies go down. New, young, innovative designers will take over.

The 'Falic' Group? Never heard of them.

Who would really care enough to keep that mess going for 22 years?

Sounds like it was a front for something or other.
