A Double Bottomed Recession

Recommended Posts

Guest BAREBEAR_soon to be ALIVA

An 'expert' on LBC talking to ken reckons theres going to be a double recession, in other words we'll see 'green shoots' but then get hit by another recession imediately afterwards.

Its the same guy that predicted the dot com crash, didn't catch his name though.

Thinking about it if this were to happen it would be the mirror image of the double topped boom we've just had.

No full recovery until at least a year and a half and Ken had to concede Brown would be gone unless he could show the recession would last longer if the tories got in.

I reckon there's a strong chance of this. Both , the double bottom and Brown winning back the voters.

Not a hope. The man is a crazed optimist. We are facing a sustained decline that will last for many years and will forever change our way of life. I've given up thinking there is even much sense in calling it a depression as that would imply there is something 'normal' to return to.
