Moderators Can Something Be Done To Control This Person?

I like both of 'em enough to buy them a drink.

Mr Alive has a tendency to explode with rage once every ten pages or so. But then arguing with M.Injin would do that to anyone...

It is however (and IMO) a sign of something wrong, in terms of argumentation, if you can go 140 pages and not get anywhere. Either someone is continually shifting ground, or someone is going round in circles.

But I haven't read the thread recently, so may be out of date.

Haven't personally seen any evidence of Bstard proving Injin wrong on any matter. Can you post a link?.

It took me 100 pages to learn what an anarchist was

Then it took me 10 pages to realise that anarchists dont recognise groups or society and therefore dont understand ownership as a none anarchist does

Then it took me many pages to realise that no form of banking was allowed because of the particular factual ownership employed by anarchists

Then it seemed i was talking to other people but then i realised i was probably talking to the same person via many names

I began wanting to be helpful. In the end the fact i was continually being called a liar was too much for me. And the fact that this thread is now in the troll subsection says it all.

A total waste of time and energy other that i have realised reasonably deepy that some people are completely beyond my influence no matter how skillfully i attempt to present my case. From that point of view it was quite interesting perhaps.

Are you taking the piss? You got into a debate with a dyed in the wool anarchist and for 100 pages you didn't bother to actually look up anarchism or Proudhon?!

I don't think Injin has ever been accused of being a multi-id troll before. You sure you weren't talking to a bunch of anarchists and they weren't all equally nuts?

Injin is nuts but a nice bloke really. If you don't like his debating style then don't get into a 100 page debate with him.

Wow. Every other person on the planet must be your intellectual puppet or you throw your toys out the cot?

Have you considered that perhaps you didn't understand your opponent's ideology and didn't debate very well?

Here is a hint, Injin is an interesting mix, absolutist anarchist that rejects all and any form of offensive violence but will happy commence slaughter for reasons of self defense or if you try and steal his tins of beans. He wishes the whole world to organise itself around similar ethical principals but without any form authority to enforce it or act as a mediator.

There are many, many flaws to this ideology and it isn't too tricky to expose them in debate.

Well I have to agree, I don't think Injin contributes anything to any of these discussions. He refuses to admit when he is wrong, and instead resorts to insults and ad hominem attacks when he is cornered on a point. I don't think he is unintelligent, I just think he is wasting his, and everyone else's time.

His tin of beans - what a sellout!!

Nice PM Al, thanks for the effort

Well it's obvious Injin gets under Al's skin, but enough of the whining. Grow a pair and deal with it.

""Perhaps in your spineless little world when people insult you then you are quite happy to be insulted.

I am not. ""

Spineless :lol::lol: you still need to grow a pair

I find that pretty weird. Why are you focusing on my testicles?

 You must know i just had a child.

They sort of hang down if it makes it easier for you to visualise.

I wish Hamish woulod get into a 140 page fight with Sibley instead. At least it's be entertaining even if not necessarily informative. I can't understand or be bothered understanding half of the inverted details of sub-sub-sub-arguments that Injun & A&K get into. At least Hamish and Sibley just talk absolute nonsense.

:(:(:(

By the way that 12,000 the bank held back when you sold your house?

When rates are coming down the banks want you to say in fixed rates at higher rates of interest than they predict as future rates. For example back in november 2008 there was some uncertainty about the direction of rates as rates were spiking a bit but by december 2009 it seemed clear that the RBNZ would do all it could to get rates as low as possible. Your mortgage costs would be by now approaching half what you were paying back then i would guess if you were floating? Much cheaper anyway had you not sold to rent.

So the 12,000 held back then enables them to finance cheaper rates for other people if they can churn the mortgages. It seems the average life of a mortgage is not so long? well under 10 years average I think? The more the banks can encourage people to change their mortgages the more money they make in fees etc or the lower rates are for those who dont change - depending on how you look at it.

When you broke the contract you made with them, their fixed rates were still high because they wanted people to lock in at the higher amounts while the variable rates came down.

12,000 does seem pretty steep however and I would wonder how clearly the possible loss was explained to you?

But in any case Injin is just causing mischief that i worked in a bank and lacks the kind of character and integrity needed by somebody who would be capable of apologising for lying about me. I cant see that because you lost the use of the 12000 it has anything at all to do with me if that is what is driving you to post these messages directed at me personally.

I managed to lose 60,000 Euro in 2006/7 in investments that went wrong as the USD strengthened, so i know what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a bet. It feels pretty awful.

But it is just part of life.

Alan B'Stard MP made the wise comment to Injin the other day that the past does not exist. For a while i was torturing myself over my losses but eventually i let it go. I also came to realise that my losses were due to my ignorance of the facts rather than anything else that could be created by me to undo the fact I lost a pile of my money.

You need to move on and put it behind you. You created the mess not me.

What is more important?

That i am a nut job or that you enjoy your day?

Are you offering counselling services in your self employment?

Or are you involved with something more practical?

My mental health is my mental health.

Your practical life is your practical life.

My practical life is my practical life

If we wish we can walk a while and share some time together in quite reflection of our similarities and differences. You are from the North and moved to the south island via the North Island. I am from the south and moved to the south of the north island via the north of the north Island. We both like Curry beer and fishing. We both enjoy New Zealand.

Let us focus on practical matters.
