House Price Crash Forum

Hello

I have not posted for almost a year, back in the days when I had time to surf the net! Had a very busy year indeed and have not really been keeping up with what is happening in the property market. I had hoped that by now I'd know whether or not it would be sensible to buy a home (been renting for a few years now) but it seems to be as unclear as ever. You guys seem to think a crash is underway but thats not what joe public and the media are saying. So I was just wondering whether anyone could fill me in on what I've missed and let me know their thoughts on buying a first home in the present market, and with a key worker loan? My general feeling now is that I've been hoping for a crash for the past 2 or so years and I could well be renting forever at this rate!

Cheers.

Your mission...should you choose to accept it... is to find a house that is good value for money and can be bought with a 3x salary mortgage.

Good luck.

Dave

Have you ever been probed by aliens? If so how much did it cost?

If by probing you mean being done up the backside by a large blunt instrument then no but if you mean visually probed by alien eyes then ...well... how do you explain this...

'PROPHET YARWEH' CLAIMS TO SUMMON UFOS FOR TV Ramon Watkins, also known as "Prophet Yahweh" agreed to meet with a reporter and camera crew of KTNV at a location of their choice and time - this is what happened

I know it's disheartening, but I'd suggest you wait till the autumn before making a decision. We're in a stalemate situation right now, and things should (maybe, perhaps) be a little bit clearer by then.

In any event prices will almost certainly continue to fall gradually for some time to come, so renting for a few more months doesn't represent much of a risk.

Great post and thanks a lot. I saw a UFO the other night when I was coming home from the pub. A mysterious blue light travelling about four or five feet above the ground level hove into view. I was transfixed by the brightness of this crafts lights. Before I knew it, two aliens had emerged and one shouted in a strange voice "oi". The effects of their aura made me unsteady on my feet but I had the presence of mind to crawl into the culvert under the road which was half full of water. I gave the aliens the slip but I cannot remember the journey home. I woke up the next morning with a terrible headache which must be the effects of being near the aliens.
