Stupid Porsche Owner

'If the ploy fails, Mr Blair said a re-spray of his bumper will cost £400 or £500.'

Firstly, you should have used a non-permanent marker pen to write on your porsche, so you're too thick to employ.

Secondly, sell the Porsche then let me know when you really need a job.

Wash it off with panel cleaner (Panel wipe) solvent, then T-cut, and that marker will come off completely.

My idea. Sell the Porsche and buy a Ford Transit and get it properly signwritten or vinyl'd as a mobile job advert!!!!!!

What a donut!!!!!

I would rather employ a homeless ex squaddie than a pillock like this.

Is he trying to impress people with his little car?

He got a bit of publicity, and a job according to another poster, seems like a good move to me. No way I would write on my Porsche though.

Don't forget this is in Dubai. If it was in the UK, the fact that he has the Cross of St Andrew on the back would preclude anyone anti-scottish from calling the no. Oh, other news on that link, Karen Matthews gets 8 years.

Looking at it, it says he's a Project Manager, so am I

Reading this thread says he's got a job, maybe I can too.

brb - off to write, using my finger, in the filth on the rear of my Fiat.

I'm sure it doesn't just work for Porsche owners in Dubai ... chancing my luck in my cul de sac with an old car.... shows frugality in planning - essential these days I'd have thought.

Copied from the article:

""Initially we were in a bubble here in Dubai thinking we were immune from the credit crunch and really being arrogant about it," said Mr Blair who moved from the Clifton area of the city to Dubai two years ago."

How right he is, though in more ways than one!:lol::lol:

Time for some Shakespeare:

"and what seemed corporal melted as breath into the wind"

I know its poor form to reply to your own post but.........

Mr Blair from Clifton in Bristol (didn't he just sell his BTL flats)

Been out in the Middle East.....(as an envoy, though he hasn't been seen much in Gaza)

Got out of the UK a couple of years ago.....

Job title starts with the letters PM???

More to this story than previously thought!!! ;)

I like his approach. In fact I think it shows character. NOT.

He actions clearly work as everyone has seen his personal details through his stunt and I reckon the chances are he would be employed by now, IF WE WERE NOT IN A RECESSION. The dumb f--k.

That stuff is fooking awful and should be banned. It amazes me why people still use it, does more harm than good.

And quite right too. I have to say, I think you are name dropping there, which Mick Jagger told me never to do.

there is a little bit of sensationalism in the 40 grand tag - that's top whack for a top spec S, you can get a boxster for <6k

not everyone with a Porker is a hedge fund manager or oligarch

mind you, he's still a w@nker for scrawling on it...

Indeed, although a top spec S will cost a bit more than £40k. I got a second hand 987 (not S) with very good spec but it was still £42k new. I paid a lot less than that obviously. Had it for about a year and I think it has comfortably outperformed the FTSE in that time despite some fairly hefty depreciation.
