Expect To See A Long-term Period Of Extremely Slow Growth With The Economy Slipping Into And Out Of Deflation And Recessions For Years To Come.

seems to sun the situation up nicely

Expect to see a long-term period of extremely slow growth with the economy slipping into and out of deflation and recessions for years to come. This is the path of Japan, not the path of the Weimar Republic.

Either is not a great choice, and I can't see any growth for a long time the best we can hope for would be long periods of stagnation and just tread water.

The present boom has been delivered a massive sucker punch.
