Gordon Brown Brings Britain To The Brink Of Bankruptcy

Recommended Posts

This sums up a lot of the problem to me.

'Thanks to the arrogance, hubristic strutting and serial incompetence of the Government and a group of bankers, the possibility of national bankruptcy is not unrealistic.'

We live in the age where it is more important to be seen to do something, than ever contemplate sitting back and letting things happen.

Unfortunately the time to act was five years ago. The writing was on the wall then, and even the average schoolboy with a basic grasp of counting on ten fingers could have worked out that 5 minus 6 billion gave a negative number.
