AteMoose
I opened a store card, in store before Christmas because it was offering a discount. The woman filled in most of the form and I signed as required, but I received an odd letter today.... Unfortunately there has been a problem in processing your full application due to an error on the original form, all we require is for you to sign this new enclosed form where indicated but donot full in your personal details. When we recieve your application will will fill in your necessary details ourselfs as we have the orginal copy It is signed by hand by the 'Operations Team' What would you do? Is the debt legally enforcable? Am i guilty of fraud if I use the card? would you send a blank application form in the post? Nothing to worry about.
Moo
would you send a blank application form in the post? Absolutely not, under any circumstances. Personally, I'd contact them by phone (find the number yourself, don't use the one they've sent you) and sort it out that way.
jonewer
Lolz, is the return address somewhere in Nigeria?
SarahBell
Sounds very bizarre. I'd give them a ring and decline their kind offer.
pokercola
No need to be paranoid, just phone the company and ask if it is legit. They are probably doing it as a favour to you, because people would really moan if they had to fill in a massive form the second time after they had already done it. Seems the company can't win. mikeymadman
Well if they want the same details on the new form, the difference must be the new form. So what is the difference? Higher interest rate? Pledge first born to GE Money?
Little Professor
would you send a blank application form in the post? Hell no. Ignore it.
Uriah Heap
We contacted the company. They said "It is nothing to do with us....." Cue story about a funny shaped carrot.
ae589
Did they really say 'ourselfs'?
