Could it be that America had the forsight of what was coming and therefore sold us their toxic debt? Are we the global bad bank? AteMoose Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I dont think so, I think everyone is each others bad banks, the debt is pretty evenly distrributed, makeing everyone suffer.... However, the countries that have been idle and living off tourism and property prices are the ones who are suffering the most, Yes the toxic stuff has been spread around, but the real problems are being caused by home grown toxic assets bubbling to the surface...
