It Started As A Couple Of Drinks After Work

Recommended Posts

It started out as a couple of drinks after work. Everyone was relieved it was Friday and ready to relax over a pint. However, Tom the Yank was out so there was always a chance that the night could turn out to be a long one. Sure enough, even though it was only barely past six he bought a round of tequila slammers to 'get us going'. Some in the group suffered and vowed to stick to the safer option of a pint.

The evening continued and it was a fantastic turnout - everyone was out. A few suggested going for a meal but Tom had just bought another round of shots. It got to the point where Anthea in a rare moment of clarity suggested to Grant that they should perhaps go home, but Kirsty persuaded them to stay.

Gordon the landlord looked on. It was all money to him, especially with late closing now. Anyway, Tom had even bought him a drink on his last round. He saw the group getting pretty rowdy - but turned a blind eye when he was asked to mix a 'killer' drink of 6 shots in a glass for Adam whose birthday it was.

Adam the Geordie was always a lightweight so it was no surprise when he was first casualty and had to be ordered a taxi at 1am. Everyone got the sense it was about time to go home, but they really knew when Lehmann threw up right there in front of them. Gordon was suddenly livid, Lehmann ran home. While the muttering Vince mopped up the mess, someone pointed out "I didn't think we'd drunk any green stuff and what are those lumps?".

Alastair the bar man asked 'can I get you fellas another drink?', eyebrows raised, waiting for an answer...

So who ******ed Krusty?

It was Gordon, he ****ed everyone, and not just in the normal way. He *****ed them in a way that made them walk funny for the rest of their lives.
