I Think Gordon Brown Is Doing Quite Well Actually...

From a conversation overheard at work. :(

There you have it, the loud mouth twit on the street who knows f*** all about the economy also reckons the following:

"We're in a good position because the man who has been running the economy for the last 10 years is now Prime Minister"

"It's the banks fault for not lending enough to good businesses"

"Good time to buy this year - if only the banks would lend people mortgages they need"

I kid you not. I didn't bother interjecting - kind of person speaking who 'knows it all' - you'll never win an argument because it's like trying read poetry to a pig.

Agreed - I hear it all the time. People just aren't smart!

It's the same on several forums I visit (including musicradar - not the smartest cookies!)
