Rbs Suspended?

Recommended Posts

Didn't they start the day at 30p+?

Because the market is reacting to our dear leader being the majority shareholder, it's a sign of confidence in his business plan.

yeah 34p!!

How bad can it (will it) get before they have to suspend it?

i have to admit. i lost 2k in rbs shares.

still, i more than covered my losses with gold. i used toxic bank stock as a hedge against recovery.

but i should have had more confidence in myself. i knew it wasnt sustainable.

Now 20p. Traders taking profits already I expect, they opened at 34p!

The govt could get a good deal if they let the shares fall to 1p and then get the rest of the bank cheap. Or is that too cynical of me. <_< It wouldn't be against EU 'state aid' rule if it's to save a bank from going under. Or would it?

giving banks billions of taxpayers money breaks every rule in the book.

But wouldn't buying up the rest of the bank at 1p a share be a win-win? In a few years time, maybe many years time, it could be refloated and I'm sure a bank that is trading Ok would fetch more than 1p a share.

we wont make it that far. - a few years time ?

we have pledged away 20+ years of our nations future wealth and its done nothing.

nothing at all.....

there is no way you can continue hpi higher than people can earn or save.
