By how much does Mrs Beckett want house prices to rise?

It's clear our ZanuLabour government wants house prices to rise....

....but I can't find by how much.

suggestions anyone?

Ideally let her mark on a HPI chart where she'd want to see house prices?

I think she'd be happy if they just stop falling, encouraging some buying maybe.

It's the huge tax revenue drop they're worried about. Nobody moves house, less purchases of everything from solicitor's services to white goods attracts VAT. No FTB means no chains move, so no stamp duty receipts, especially at the top end.

Enough to get every home owner into £100K+ equity, so the ponzi scam can continue

All these inconsiderate policies make me want do do absolutely nothing in case I do the wrong thing.

The main thing being NOT wanting to buy a house now at any price. Who knows how bat it will get?

Labour associate rising house prices to a booming economy & think if prices start to rise again then all will be ok again.

I bought a house in 1998 for £95k & sold it in Aug 07 for a quarter of a million !!! No way was it worth that. No way. £120k at the most is what it should have been worth.
