That should have come with a warning...almost blew my speakers! You could hear the spittle hitting the mike. :o

Yes, sorry.

About not feeding the troll, I just found this funny. He doesn't even give reasons.

So what are the odds that

a ) He's a desperate EA

b ) He's desperate to sell his house before he is in negative equity

c ) He's an BTL Landlord worried his 'portfolio' is losing value

d ) He's a jerk

He does - "the recent cuts interest rates".

Not a good reason, but a reason all the same.

My vote is for equal measures of all four if that is allowed ....

Flipping 'eck.

Not wishing to be unkind, I think this chap may have err, um... "issues"

Watched another one of his vids, looked like he lives on the set of "rising damp"

You haven't been here long enough (no offence) to know that he is not just a nutter, he is dangerous, threats, etc. Please ignore him.

He has tried to get back on this site using several alias / proxy names.

just (d) i reckon, just a fool really...

i would guess someone who has got on the ladder but has no aspirations to ever move up it, and probably someone who'll never have to worry about whether his children will be able to afford a decent lifestyle... in other words one of the relatively modest number of people who genuinely stand to benefit from HPI [albeit probably only when he sells up and moves into a nursing home/sheltered housing/an asylum].

Trying to move the debate on a bit....

If he is in a totally asshole situatin viz his finances (and is a sandwich short of a picnic) it is easy to understand he might try to blame others such as STRs for his problems. It is difficult to admit you were suckered into a huge con.

I can see this sort of view becoming quite mainstream as the recession really kicks in. .

We need to get the message across that we are simply different sides of the same coin. Gordo has shown himself pretty adept at shifting blame for his actions and we need to make sure we or any one else doesn't take the rap for his bunglings.
