aliveandkicking
Thinking about moving back to the UK from overseas if it looks like a recovery is possible. I can repair older style houses and probably dont need a mortgage Are there any sites that allow searches by property condition? Thanks Edited January 17, 2009 by aliveandkicking
Executive Sadman
Id guess just go to auction sites. I noticed a large fire damaged house in Northampton a couple of months back, had a sign saying 'grosvenor properties' outside it but they seem to have no web presence. Wimbledon88
Go to Irish Right Move and key in "anything under 200,000 Euro".

tahoma
Ragworth near Middlesbrough was a hotspot for such properties as I recall. I walked through there once late at night on the way to a mates from Teeside Park. Christ. Mind you, that was the mid-90s. May be a paradise by now, although I doubt it. Lots of Yorkshire towns had places that were run down, vermin had even prised up and removed the flagstones from the floor. RufflesTheGuineaPig
Just use rightmove to find one you like then burn it down. As long as no-one is home, you're probably doing the owner a favour.

ScaredEitherWay
globrix has a keywords feature. It might be worthwhile checking that site and seeing if the words fire-damaged appear in the keywords across a whole county or town. Also, the fire departments in some area have a website that list all their shouts. It'd just be a case of looking at those, then making a note of roads where there were house fires and doing a monthly drive around/check on Rightmove and auction sites for them. Or just a general google search for fire-damaged and for sale. Edited January 17, 2009 by ScaredEitherWay
