Another Lovely Day In Construction

Recommended Posts

An M&S spokesperson said: “We reviewed our non-merchandise products and services supplier terms last year and have updated them to make them more transparent and align them to industry best practice.”

Quality!

A company using those weasel words to justify hanging out your suppliers to dry by further delaying payment for goods already received neither deserves reliable suppliers nor credibility in regards much else it says.

This is not just food, this is M&S food, what does that mean eh? Food you haven't paid for yet and is on extended tick?

Isn't there some legislation on the books that allows firms to claim interest on any late payment, (over 30 days I think). Not many would use this in the good times, but nobody likes getting bent over and *** ****** as things go pear shaped, suppiers of goods and services will rebel at some point
