  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-27086401 My first thoughts (after agreeing with the comment that the proposal is "borderline insane") were........ Just who initiated this whole idea? and WHY!?? What does the government get out of it? followed by....... Hey ho. IF we are going to have to live with this further erosion of personal privacy maybe there will be some token 'silver lining'? It could work both ways? We could get to request and see the personal tax details of the wealthy and political classes we all hate and despise so much. No? Any bets that, whatever system that HMRC implement, it will be done in such a way as to protect those sorts of people?!
