  1. BBC must cut zillions from budget as revenues decline Story The BBC has been told to slash spending. The Corporation must cut at least thirty five million from its live sports budget. This has led to widespread fears that Lee McKenzie will disappear forever from our screens, as the Formula One rights alone are a whopping twenty mil. Channel Four will also face the axe. Moreover, the Government no longer wishes to subsidise the license fees of old age pensioners, who have a nasty, entitlement skewed, free bus pass mentality. A significant number of old age pensioners watch Formula One. Much of the BBC's fall in revenues can be attributed to unpatriotic youths who either watch TV online, without a license, or not at all.
