  2. News of yet more retailers in trouble. Greenwoods menswear firm, which has a branch in Worcester, on the Shambles, goes into administration http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/15538447.Greenwoods_menswear_firm_goes_into_administration/?ref=mr&lp=6 Just for Pets jobs in Bromsgrove and Northfield at risk as company verges on administration https://bromsgrovestandard.co.uk/news/just-for-pets-jobs-in-bromsgrove-and-northfield-at-risk-as-company-verges-on-administration/
  3. Not sure if this is the best sub-forum to post this, but thought it worth a try anyway. I may soon have the opportunity to buy some retail premises which can be used for a shop, cafe, or office space. Apparently the current yield is 10% gross, although since it's not actually available to buy yet, I've seen nothing concrete in terms of price, square footage, and rents etc. I've never dabbled in this before, so would appreciate opinions, wisdom, and suggestions on what I need to read up on to see if it's a viable investment. My gut feel is that unless I can buy it at a very good price, I wouldn't touch retail with a bargepole right now, but if I don't do the research I'll never know if it was worth a look. Does anyone have some links to up to date graphs on commercial property prices, rental yields, and anything else I ought to be considering? Thanks in advance.
