  1. Breaking news on Sky News now, unconfirmed rumour that he has stated whoever wins the GE will be unelectable for decades due to the size of cuts and amount of tax they will need to implement! Ouch! Finally starting to tell the truth? The very same thing we have been talking about on here for months?
  2. I'm loving the fight in the comment section over the london-centric media - a real bugbear of mine too. It appears in almost all newspapers and tv channels that if you dont live and breathe london then you are not really english and missing out somewhat!
  3. According to property bee, sold as of March... all her problems solved?
  4. There we go, I knew there had to be one! Well done again HPC!
  5. Can I have that story as a motivational poster, like the one with the cute cats and sunsets, but with huge knockers instead? I feel all would be well with the world again then.
  6. I thought exactly the same, the cole story dropped exactly before the falls started coming... I'm going over to the conspiracy post to add my masonic evidence. Oh, but before I go...
  7. Ok, The last few months have been very frustrating looking at all of the bailouts, bank tricks, government prop-ups and dithering. Nothing seems to be going anywhere, and houses seem to just be sitting there unsold and unchanged. Looked again today and saw this: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26083709.html Looking at the propertybee history it seems to be after Xmas that the penny finally dropped, from £245K down to £170K in less than two months, with a guide of £150-170K in the text itself. As a HMO I guess it is a repossessed BTL, so are the bank finally doing something to get these off their hands? 17 February 2010 * Price changed: from '£200,000' to '£170,000' 31 January 2010 * Price changed: from '£210,000' to '£200,000' [Found by n/a] 21 January 2010 * Price changed: from 'Guide Price £200,000' to '£210,000' [Found by n/a] 20 January 2010 * Price changed: from '£210,000' to 'Guide Price £200,000' [Found by n/a] 09 January 2010 * Price changed: from '£245,000' to '£210,000' [Found by n/a] * Subtitle changed: from '7 bedroom character property ' to '6 bedroom character property ' [Found by n/a] * Title changed: from 'Milton Road Weston super Mare' to 'Weston super Mare' [Found by n/a] 03 December 2009 * Title changed: from 'Weston super Mare' to 'Milton Road Weston super Mare' [Found by n/a] 11 June 2009 * Initial entry found. 8. These charts are fantastic! I wish I could work for the team that creates them. They look so easy to produce. The red middle section is always on +2% (what a suprise) no matter where it is at the present time and the fan extends around whatever they are trying to scare you with.. To be honest they don't need a chart as inflation is always 2% medium term according to the spin!
  9. Ahh but that assumes that nobody can pay - plenty can, just not from this country. Everything will continue to rise while somebody somewhere will pay. Once it stops, we will be a whole lot poorer, then we get deflation.
  10. Unfortunately, that doesnt mean deflation at all, it just means a lower standard of living for everybody.
  11. So where exactly is that dreaded deflation everyone was talking about in that chart? The fan dips that way a little, but hardly the dangerous thing everyone was saying!
  12. 6% of 2022 is 121 people... even at that figure I'm amazed! Do people really need to hold onto property at all costs that they will pay a mortgage at 3-4% with one that is over 20% and possibly 30%? Ok, like it was mentioned maybe it was a one off thing just to cover a sparse period, but even so that would be setting off HUGE alarm bells to me.
  13. Sorry guys! ... My excuse, no coffee yet this morning! Mods, don't even bother merging... its not worth it..
  14. Not sure if this has been posted yet, surprised if it hasn't! BBC News Surely proof that people are maintaining the whole shebang at any costs, something that can't continue indefinitely?
  15. It's ok though, as home loans have been rising steadily during the autumn!
