  1. Yeah, well I'm a lazy bugger and Asda in on my route home from work. Plus Lidi and Aldi are full of pikeys and poor people I was just pointing out that Sainsbury's can shut their freaking mouths. They're bum raping us on the cost of food compared to other countries and have the gall to whine about lost earnings. Cry me a freaking river
  2. Came for a discussion on current inflation rates . 6 pages of circle jerking about how much money people have. Leaving disapointed
  3. 33 years old, on £23,000 a year, renting a medium sized terrace in Lancashire. Zero savings, less than £8,000 total debt (including student loan) Just about to move to a roomier house for less rent and take on a lodger. Starting to pay down debt and build up some savings. Hopefully will be in a good place when house prices bottom out.
  4. Who is this left-wing government you're referring to? New Labour? you're having a giraffe! Old Labour were left wing, New labour were only slightly less right wing that the tories and a hell of alot more totalitarian
  5. TGP Awesome posts, I would like to subscribe to your newsletter
  6. If anyone is interested I'm starting a commune up in Lanashire. Please only apply if you are female, fertile and don't mind sharing a large communal bed.....to conserve bodyheat of course
  7. The average wage for the area is £18,000 Average house price is £112,207 So average houses are 6x + average wages. There are houses for sale in the 75,000 to 80,000 range that aren't too bad, some fixer uppers and some ok 1 bedroomed terrenced houses. Personally on my slighty above average wage these properties are just over 3x my salary. I still believe they will still drop a bit more, hopefully will have bottomed out by the time I've saved up enough deposit
  8. The worlds going to end on 12/12/12 anyway I saw a documentary about it the other day, it had John Cusak in it......oh wait that might have been a film
  9. To everytard that is saying there are no jobs you are talking out of your bottoms A quick search on the jobcentre plus website within 50 miles of my postcode (I live in the middle of freaking nowhere) there are 77,049 jobs and that's just the ones on that site. Please only have an opinion if you have a fracking clue. It's takes a few minutes to check facts with teh internetz
  10. COD4:MW (or as I like to call it "Grenade of Grenade 4 :Grenade Grenade") is over rated in my book, it was an above average gunw&k in single player but far too similar to all the other FPS's I've played over the years in multiplayer, sure it had perks and weapon addons but other than than it was run of the mill. I won't be dropping £55 unless the mutiplayer is vastly different to COD4 The Battlefield series are better games and has much more varied gameplay due to it's sandbox nature IMO, All the BF games on the PC lasted years (with mods), I played Battlefield Bad Company for over a year on the xbox and I'm loving BF1943 at the minute. COD4 only lasted a few months before I was utterly bored with it. Mouse and KB Vs Controllers, I like either and can perform well on both, if you suck at using a controller it's YOU that sucks, not the controller. I like PCs as they generally have more complex games. I like Consoles as they're easy to setup and maintain so all my RL friends have them and I get to game with my friends without having to go round to their houses and sort out their PCs all the time. (although I still need to do this from time to time)
  11. Tyler Durden: You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your ******ing khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world. Fight Club starts here.
