  1. Thanks - going to take a few days as away at moment, but am interested to see if there's a difference between search results. Presumably there's a decade of stories that he might want people to forget.
  2. When I Google News 'Fergus Wilson' it says: "Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe. Learn more" Is this an attempt to purge Google of stories where he's sold all his houses?
  3. It's like a surreal version of Guess Who. Not sure who's left by the end of it. Judith Wilson?
  4. This is beyond a joke now - seemingly beardies and those with tatoos are now on his list of undesirables. Apparently they're unlikely to earn enough ... http://m.kentlive.news/this-bearded-man-just-shut-down-fergus-wilson-in-the-most-brutal-way/story-30260729-detail/story.html
  5. Latest bizarre instalment... http://www.kentnews.co.uk/news/controversial-landlord-fergus-wilson-claims-kent-mp-asked-him-to-stand-for-conservatives-as-police-and-crime-commissioner-1-4966438 I think Kent News must be getting a lot of traffic from Fergus stories. Wonder which is more profitable - 900 odd BTL properties or Fergus inspired clickbait?
  6. Is that information public? Any chance of a Twitter campaign to chop off the BTL life support? Isn't there an argument it's taxpayers that have been supporting this arbitrary discrimination?!
  7. Presumes of course that his current tenants feel secure enough to unleash more feckless tenants onto the world. I've heard babies live off handouts and are pretty irresponsible. Do they make it onto the 2017 list of undesirables? After all, some might have ambitions to become plumbers?!

  9. Thanks everyone - this is the closest I get to watching a sitcom these days "To dig up the floor costs thousands, it’s six months worth of rent gone." One assumes the days of prawns behind the radiator are now long gone
  10. Kent Online has a new episode - something about Fergus and baby wipes. I don't seem to be able to read the actual article though - can anyone help please?
  11. Difficult to see what the end-game is for people who write like that. Presumably locked in a Maltese farmhouse reciting sections of "Successful Property Letting".
  12. Same thread this chap says in all seriousness "FTB Finance should be available to be able to compete [with BTLers]" and of course that providing housing to people who banks "refuse" to is productive work. I hope he plays a more prominent role in the @TenantTax campaign. So far his responses have encouraged a fair bit of negative tweeting :-)
  13. https://twitter.com/Adam_Hosker/status/726838661111775232 if it's of interest
  14. Am enjoying a flurry of tweets seemingly between HPCers and a BTLer, sorry 'entrepreneur'. They have elicited the response that BTL is in fact an 'investment business'.
