  1. I had a CCTV company and a hotel / Golf club owed me £17000, they were 3 months late I sent them a letter and an invoice for interest payments of nealy £1000 saying that I would revoke the additional invoice if they paid within 7 days. They paid the following day and I was there the next week working again, they've never paid late since. People are too scared to fight for their money, but show these people you mean business and most of them will respect you for it.

  3. Ryanair is to reduce its services from Stansted airport in a row with airport owner BAA, the company says. Ryanair wants is refusing to pay higher landing charges The budget airline said it was cutting its winter services by 40% from October. Ryanair has been in dispute with BAA over landing charges. The decision will mean that the company will operate 24 aircraft from the Essex airport, reducing the number of passengers it carries by 2.5 million between October and March. Ryanair says it is cutting flights as Stansted, along with Dublin, are its two most expensive bases. We might take o
  4. Its not misleading at all! If you watch the interview then I stated what was said.
  5. Obviously not. They did say it was due to the "green taxes" and also the £15 charge per passenger that they have to pay stansted for return passengers FROM Stansted. I take it they don't pay this if they originate elsewhere.
  6. Just been watching Sky News and they say Ryanair is to move its base at Stansted to Spain to save money, although at the loss of about 2,500 jobs as Stansted. They are blaming the governments taxes.

  9. I Can't take credit for this but thought it was quite good! How the tax system work, explained using beer Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. The fifth would pay £1. The sixth would pay £3. The seventh would pay £7. The eighth would pay £12. The ninth would pay £18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay £59. So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite
  10. I think we're missing a big point. You shouldn't be ABLE to get into this kind of debt! Simples. The banks shouldn't be alowed to lend more than a enough to buy a new kitchen or car or similar large purchase, and then you shouldn't be alowed credit for more than one of these. Letting people just borrow and borrow and borrow is just INSANE, when will the f***ing government sort these w***ers out!
  11. I did wonder about the legality of it aswell. I thought that once the gavel drops the house is sold, but not according to whats been printed elsewhere. They then have x amount of days to then go back to the vendor who has to "accept" your price. If this is the case I wonder if you get your fee back? Sounds like a big con to me.
