  1. That is why Labour have these (snigger) 6 tests ......they blatantly don't want to be in power to deliver Brexit...... Brexit is a device on a hair trigger...best let the opposition be in possession when it goes off.
  2. I quite liked and thought the 'Red, White and Blue' Brexit rang true.............and it does look like we'll get a Labour, Conservative or the White flag of surrender Brexit after all Edit: the soundbite breaks down a little as the cons have adopted the white flag Brexit.....and.....most likely if labour get in they'll adopt it too.
  3. Of course...... you are correct. But they did vote Brexit and they got....Brexit. Just a flavour of Brexit that apparently some hard line leavers do not like. It's a pity that Brexit was not specified in more deal in the first place and tested to see if it was a valid option before being put to the people..... we might have avoided this car crash before we took the hand break off. BTW ...... what ever happened to No Deal being better than a Bad Deal?.... did that get chucked out with all the other BS sound bites?
  4. Are we ready for it yet? When the realisation that the only viable and sensible option is to remain then perhaps we will be....
  5. The 'Leave Tools' ran away or did not want the job or made excuses as to why they could not do the job. The 'Leave Tools' (BoJo, Fox, Gove et al) did not come up with a credible alternative proposal. It sounds like sour grapes. It's another fine mess that the Leavers made ..... and which they do not have any answer for. You have to accept that the reason that the current Brexit deal is a bad deal and worse than remain is because there is no better deal available....... your 'notion' of a nirvana Brexit is not based on the reality of the situation and thus is fatally flawed. The reality is it's this 'bad deal', or no deal or remain.....May has been quite honest about the available choices.
  6. I had'nt realised that GD was so young and naive.......bless. Give him a break. Hopefully when he gets some life expedience, he'll come to his senses.
  7. Not so fast....... you have implied that we would have more power outside the Eu, that we would be less rule taker and more rule maker.....and that it would be to our overall benefit. I have in the past challenged you on this point...I have never heard a convincing reply.......yet. Please can you answer the question, it is quite important. For all our benefit.
  8. Weak opinions are for sheep. I argue my points using logic (as best I can). I understand that many do not. I expect those who express their opposing opinions here to defend them.....with logic. Not too much to ask for....in a discussion forum me thinks. As for the population at large....they voted Brexit for a variety of different reason that may or, as I suspect, may not be addressed by Brexit. I'm sure those who misguidedly voted for the wrong reasons will eventually come to a realisation. My point is, at the moment, the game is still very much in play......as recent events have shown...and there are myths to be slain.
  9. So....by leaving we will be rule makers...whilst little ol Europe will be rule takers..... that sounds rather barmy. Can you elaborate precisely why you think we would have more power over trade with others by leaving the collective bargaining might of the eu. For it seems to me that this is intuitively improbable.
  10. Breaking News May's Brexit deal finds a mystery backer on HPC. May claims this is a victory for democracy.
  11. Gove is 'absolutely confident in May'...but doesn't want the Brexitty job....that he is so passionate about. .....prefers to let the remainers do it for him...... what a pathetic and utterly cowardly tool he is.
  12. He wanted Brexit....he is still part of the government (taking the shilling)........it's a poison chalice of his making. As I said........these Brexiteers are disruptors...they don't take responsibility....they prefer to be the victims and hard done by.... truly pathetic.
  13. Some Labour dipstick on BBC breakfast saying that they want to a general election and they want to re-negotiate the deal.....with cherries on top.....all in a couple of months!! Brexit with a seat at the table......Labour truly deluded. Party politics trumps the interests of the country. Brexit has become the UK's LSD - we are truly one headless fvcked-up nation.....we are falling apart trying to deliver the undeliverable....great job.
  14. Gove offered Brexit job.......refuses and considering quitting.... Another Brexity rat deserts the sinking Brexit ship. One thing that seems to characterise these Brexiteers....they consider themselves victims and never take responsibility...always content to be one of the hard done by set.......pathetic.....#Bremoaners Don't they fill you with a sense of pride.............the only thing they are prepared to 'take back control of' is their pay check.
  15. Very interesting...... I reckon that No deal percentage will shrink by half when it becomes apparent what No Deal actually means. You could end up with No Brexit 74%, No Deal 17% and Her deal 14%. That would be my guess. At which point there would be no hurt to heal as most all would be on the same side. Win-Win. Everyone is is happy (except GB, but never mind)
  16. Now that the unicorn and rainbow Brexit myth has been busted...my guess is not that many would vote for a hard brexit...because that is the only 'Brexity' choice on the table. Running on a Checkers Mk11 ticket is a non starter.
  17. The can kicking appears endless.....draft this...draft that...vote now......vote later.... What are the majority of our elected representatives saying???? Please enlighten me....coz I don't think they know what they are saying...or doing....headless chickens at the moment. So fill your boots and shed some light.
  18. Clearly one of the option put to the people has proved unworkable/unacceptable. Therefore it was not valid. May came up with a compromise deal that is probably the best of the worst set of options for Brexit (even I could live with that.......just) - but it has been rejected (not by the people). If the referendum is about democracy, and given that one of the option look 'problematic and unacceptable', then it makes sense to go back to the people and give them the final say between the viable/acceptable options. Because no current government will countenance a Hard Brexit therefore the default will be Remain but without the people's say so. I'd rather the people had another say than to allow our government to unilaterally make that decision for us. It may, I hope, help with the healing process.
  19. Don't worry... you can put your mark in the appropriate Hard Brexit/Remain box when the time comes.
  20. he won't get there on any sort of Brexit ticket...I'm sure he's clever enough to realise that.
  21. But what about the Polish plumbers !!!!!!!!!!!! They have invaded our country and now the taps don't drip and the loos work.....what are we to do.
  22. Nah!.....you have misjudged these guys.....they are quitting because they don't want to be stigmatised by the current deal AND they can see there is no other solution. These guys have thrown in the towel and will be nowhere to be seen. This was an opportune time for them to make an exit in true Brexit fashion.
