Hello People, this is my first post. There are some interesting points of view on here, however few people have discussed the effects of high energy prices are having on our societies and the potentially catastrophic consequences of the imminent decline in world oil and gas production. A few minutes of googling suggests that the world is at, or is very close to peak oil production which could have dire implications for the global housing sector and our economies. http://www.wolfatthedoor.org.uk/ http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/Index.html http://www.energybulletin.net/ http://www.peakoil.net/ Sorry for such a depressing first post but I think it's about time people wake up to this issue.
