  1. Most complain that they are not wealthy and the running costs of being a landlord are 'too high' Surely the best thing to do is to quit the game and sell at the top of the market? The prices being bandied around are crazy
  2. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/50600065/?search_identifier=d0b1ab3982fe85a156325c7ad413f8af and this one confuses the hell out of me. Bought £545,000 in 2017 but listed for just over £100k initially but multiple drops until now listed £65,000 (again could be up for auction) am I missing something here?
  3. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/54284886/?search_identifier=d0b1ab3982fe85a156325c7ad413f8af this one has been listed since Feb 2020 and had a massive reduction recently. Now priced lower than the price bought for in 2006. looks like it could be going up for auction though.
  4. https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/52219838/?search_identifier=d0b1ab3982fe85a156325c7ad413f8af been listed since July 2019 and a fair whack has been taken off it. Further evidence of flats really are on the way down.
  5. Or most of them are BTL. 1 million plus leaving London is bound to have an impact.
  6. More tiny box places falling off a cliff. 26% off original asking price https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/56261598/?search_identifier=6186cb0ec6ac182c61ac61aad08d2fc4
  7. But you can't lose in property right??? Oh hang on....
  8. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/94619306#/ - overpriced garbage like this isn't selling, zone 1-3 London is littered with flats like this which isn't shifting. Looks like a student dorm room, how long for the penny to drop for the vendor?
  9. My heart bleeds for them 😆 surprised there wasn’t the usual ‘but this is my pension’ ********.
  10. Many thanks for this Count, always good to read, the graph showing the number of listings is really telling. How many of those listed have been listed, taken off and relisted again? (On continuous loop). goes to show what is listed isn’t shifting (Except London) and when restrictions ease, we could see a glut of properties put onto the market, with perhaps some considerable pent up demand however at this prices, who can buy? 🙄
  11. He’s jumped through hoops just to get to the stage of them doing actually doing something about it.
  12. That’s suggesting he wasn’t one to begin with 😉
  13. Not always, people do buy houses as an investment and falling prices doesn’t seem like a sound investment.
