They were mentioned in such away by Lord Sumption in his assessment of the way that Doris and his pals are operating effectively as a dictatorship. Fyi posted link on lockdown thread.
  2. His article was based on the asseement of the illegality of our governments decrees based on the assessment by Lord Sumption a true hero. Lengthy but well worth a listen if you want to gain an understanding of what has actually taken place to the UK and across the western world regardless whether or not you believe in the veracity of CV.
  3. « Lord Sumption's devastating lecture on the government's rule by decree and grasp for despotic power. | Main 01 November 2020 1:18 AM PETER HITCHENS: The dictators have taken over - and we didn't even notice This is Peter Hitchens’s Mail on Sunday column There was once a famous Chinese executioner so skilful with his razor-edged sword that crowds would pay to watch him behead criminals. 10. I remember the great crash in the early 90's. They abolished mortgage for relief for unmarried couples causing a surge and a spike in the market. Lambs to the slaughter, it was carnage in the ensuing years. Most unfortunate for all those just trying to get on with life. 1988 Budget below. Nothing happens by chance IMHO. Under the present system an unmarried couple can get twice as much mortgage interest relief as a married couple. This has attracted increasing—and justified—criticism. I propose to put a stop to it as from August this year. Thereafter, the £30,000 limit
  11. I can only guess it was fortunate for the government balance sheet that a virus ran a mock from a chinese wet market that disproportionately caused death amongst this age group. I can only guess to, that it was only a monumental unfortunate F up in this country and others to send the infected old people back into the care homes causing outbreaks in the care homes.
