  1. So are you telling me there are no Albanians on the Boats? I said Albanians can apply for a work Visa then fly to the UK and work. How many more times! They come by boat and claim Asylum. They are Bogus Asylum Seekers. As I have already said no one takes more from a real genuine Asylum Seeker than a Bogus one. The Albanians on boats are Bogus. So why are Albanians not doing that? Answer for the simple reason it is far more advantage to come via boat and claim Asylum. Look at the difference. Option 1. Apply for a working visa fly to the UK work pay tax , NI and the NHS surcharge, pay your own rent work save some money and go home. Or Come via boat claim Asylum get put up in an hotel , free NHS care, jump the housing queue get Citizenship bring the family over children get free education, NHS, child tax credits, child allowance and you can flit between the UK and Albanian whenever you want. Option 2 is much better.
  2. What are you on about now. Albanians can apply for Asylum in the UK and many get granted it. Even though they are not at War and Albania is a safe country. Yet other countries won't accept applications from them for those reasons. Asylum is meant for those fleeing war and persecution not for those who want to come here but don't want to work. Rubbish. I read a post from you recently stating you don't celebrate Christmas yet if you believe the above you must surely believe in Father Christmas. If people are fleeing War they bring their wives and children with them. No you are the nutter. No you are arguing against yourself. Albanians can apply to work in the UK (how many more times do I need to tell you this) they don't as they don't want to come and work , they want to claim Asylum in order to get everything free and jump the housing queues. Now please stop talking shit.
  3. I know I agree I have said it many times on this forum. But they have never done it and they won't so while we carry on with the shortage people will still outbid and both adults in a household will have to work.
  4. Agreed however taking both partners earnings into account has allowed people to pay more for the same house.
  5. Don't make me laugh the shifts in Tesco don't work around Mums with kids. At my local Tesco the full timers do either 6am - 3pm with an hour for lunch or 3pm - 11pm. The part times do all manner of shorter shifts including weekends and late nights. There won't be any 10-3 available. It was a choice when I was growing up there were a few kids in my year where the mother worked full time the rest either had stay at home mums or mums who worked part time. The ones where the mother worked full time had mothers who went back to work when they started school , not six months after they were born. You will find that the ones working full time will be predominately those with young children and a big mortgage. Sad but true.
  6. Women being told to burn their bras and that they can have it all which is big part of feminism has led to over priced houses. Do join the Dots.
  7. Yes they do go and do some research. They are the Bogus Asylum Seekers. Albanians can apply for a working visa to come to the UK and work. The Albanians are not doing this they are coming in large numbers via the dinghy's. Where we as UK Citizens can go that Albanians cannot has nothing to do with what we are discussing. What clap trap and nonsense. Since when has 80% of 55,000 the number that arrived last year become a few men? The expected influx this year is 85,000. Have you any idea why there are so few women and children? Don't they want to come as well? You would do the same if the Boot was on the other foot. So in a previous post you posted about Australia giving out working Visas for Brits going to work there. Yet instead of applying for a working visa and flying to Australia you would arrive there without documentation via a dingy! Why would you do that?
  8. The Albanians can get a work Visa come over to work but they don't. What has anyone's skin colour and Australia got to do with it?
  9. Someone once told me of a Social Worker working with new arrivals saying that they had a reluctance to learn English as that then meant the next stop was being urged to find a job.
  10. I think generally people's expectations are very high. We are all told when you grow up you will meet a prince/princess marry and live happily ever after. The truth is a bit different to that. I have also heard of Men having been taken for a ride by women now only having sex with Men. But surely there has to be an element of Bi- Sexuality within these people to begin with they don't turn to their own sex just due to bad experiences with the opposite sex.
  11. Have you ever seen the early mid 30's Career Woman who is now hearing the ticking of her clock? I have and have seen more than a few make hideous mistakes rushing to get pregnant before it is too late.
  12. TBH my Mum and Dads marriage was not the best but reading between the lines and looking back as an adult I think my Mum kept it going as she had 4 sons there is no way she could have kept us in line on her own. Me and my Brother have often spoken about we don't know how she did it. Maybe the biggest sacrifice she made was learning to navigate my Dad and carrying on. I know many other Mothers who did the same. But I also don't know how the younger women of today "do" their lives either. They may be more equal to their husbands and won't put up with certain situations, but they are working full time , raising a family and juggling non stop. One mid 30's couple I know (they had children much later than my parents) seem to do it all then every now and again they crash and both have a week off work when bought down with an illness. Are these being prone to illness episodes bought on by Stress? I don't know, but what I do know is I never knew my parents having them.
  13. +1 There are 3 Authorities for a Teenage boy to obey. They are the father the school and the police. If the father is not there the other two lose much of their power.
  14. But what you have said does not actually fit with the current situation. It was recently reported that 80% of those arriving in small boats were from Albania a safe country that is just across the Med. If they are so intent on working they can apply for a working visa and fly here on a cheap Airline to find work. So they must prefer to be hellish bored in a hotel while claiming Asylum than working. There are countries in the ECHR who will not accept Asylum applications from Albanians as they know Albania is a safe country, yet not only does the UK accept their applications they also give a high number Citizenship when they are eventually processed. This is the reason we are attracting such a high number. As you have said there are people who take a lot of risk to travel across the Globe to get here and many of these will be genuine Asylum Seekers. No one takes more from these people the genuine Asylum Seeker than the Bogus Asylum Seekers. The Bogus clog up the system, take resources and wear out the good nature of the host country they arrive in. So those praising Asylum Seekers (in your case comparing many Brits unfavourable to them) should be the most vocal against the Bogus yet your not. You try and tell me it is not a good life in the 4* hotel while waiting for a free house. You should be shouting the loudest against the Bogus. But your like a shop keeper treating shop lifers with the same respect as the shoppers, stating that both the shoppers and shop lifters left the shop with goods in their bags. Maybe that is why we now have 500 hotels full of Boat People while many of our own sleep on the streets.
  15. If a crime has been committed you find out the facts you don't use assumptions based on people's jobs. But when a claim is made the insurance company will look at the facts not assume a claim or responsibility based on assumptions.
  16. I am sure many women stayed in jobs not just because the men had been killed in the War but due to woman being able to be in the workforce like men were.
  17. Have you spoken to all the earlier Asylum seekers to determine they all wanted to work? I am sure the word got out long ago that the UK is a soft touch , that is why they cross the channel from France.
  18. That was how it was for most people until after the second world war , people rented from private companies , then the Council Houses were built and undercut those landlords, so the landlords sold up. They say things go full circle so let's hope one day there is a government who embark on a massive council house building or buying spree and undercut those Global corporations.
  19. Well there were female shop managers back then not every Woman got booted out of jobs when the men came home from the War. Well many have not got the choice especially those lower down the earnings bracket who have husbands or partners who are also lower down. Twice recently I have been served by a heavily pregnant Woman at the supermarket check out. I mentioned their exciting event and asked both if they were giving up work, both replied that NO they had to come back to work saying they wish they did not have too. These women won't be sending their babies to expensive nursery's , but relying on parents, in laws and other family help or will be working when their husbands will back from work to take over the child care. Another Woman in my local Supermarket was almost falling asleep at the till recently having had a few conversations with her over the years I know that she has 3 primary school aged children. The conversation with her was that she was working until 11pm that night and that she sometimes felt she did not know how see carried on. I am sure all the above 3 women don't think they are living the 2020 DREAM. You have hit the nail on the head there, the women who has to go out to work full time still has to come home and scrub the front doorstep , it is not an either or it is now both. Do you honestly think that the women and men who are chasing their arses off juggling a full time job each when back in the 50's one job per couple would have done are fulfilled and enjoying the stress?
  20. Who are now being moved out of hotels and into free houses jumping over people like this man and thousands of others.
  21. That is why we have courts to look at all the facts and get to the truth. Not that the court system is infallible.
  22. I knew a couple who had been long term tenants renting from an older couple. The couple decided to sell and they wanted to buy the place, however when the price was agreed (with some discount) they were £8,000 short of being able to buy the property. An agreement was reached where by the couple accepted the £8,000 less with the buyers agreeing to pay it to them 2 years later. When the 2 years had passed the couple went to pay the sellers, who said thank you for keeping to the agreement but we don't want the money you keep it.
