  1. Other posters manage to get their point across without turning their content into a psychedelic side show. Perhaps Mr pebbles could take a leaf. Just sayin’.
  2. Fuk me! That opening post made my eyes bleed!! Is all the overblown font and different colours really necessary? We’re all grown ups here and can pick out the important bits on our own without the need to make the post look like a 90’s website! Maybe just a few words in bold if you really need to highlight something.
  3. Still looks available according to this page? https://www.lloydsbank.com/mortgages/first-time-buyers/lend-a-hand.asp
  4. I believe lot of the properties are already in her name. It was mentioned in one of the recent articles. She got that £25k fine because the property is in her name.
  5. Heart attack caused by bankruptcy. With his anger issues and obviously not the most healthy of people, I’m surprised he’s lasted as long as he has!
  6. Don’t know why it put my comment inside the quote above? I wrote my comment after the quote tags.
  7. I’ll let you in to a little secret... you can say that even if you do you own the property and it’s just as fun. They don’t check up on you before hanging up
  8. Yes, and the person of authority checking it’s suitabilty will usually try and rip it off the wall before they are happy to issue the licence. The safe will need at least 4 decent size fixing bolts, preferably into a solid wall. How many landlords are happy about picture hooks, let alone multiple 10mm holes drilled in to their walls!
  9. “I have put together a Portfolio of top of the range houses in Ashford.” Does he really believe that?!
  10. This is a strange statement and completely plays in to the hands of the BTL’ers who say they are not competing with FTB’ers. If you are correct, which I don’t think you are, then you are giving credence to the those BTL’ers who say there will be less properties once they sell up. Because with your reasoning only another BTL’er would be interested in these ‘garbage’ properties. And if another BTL’er doesn’t buy them you’re saying no-one else will, therefore there will be less properties available! Were these properties empty for years prior to the first BTL’er purchasing them? Of course not. In reality, there will be plenty of FTB’ers interested in them at the right price and probably a few insane ones interested at the (current) wrong price!
  11. On main BBC news site site now although nothing new said - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-46839621
  12. The Ringwood one was featured on BBC South Today this evening. The prize money only ended up being £110k out of the £750k made on ticket sales. Reporter buzzes their gate intercom and asked why they made more out of it than the prize winner and the bloke said if you work out their time spent on it they earned just over minimum wage. Then he told the reporter to go away or he would call the police. Scammer fckers!!
  13. Are you sure about that? According to the website they are part of Nationwide BS - https://www.themortgageworks.co.uk/aboutus
  14. Correction: it’s £70k for other EU member sellers (I didn’t realise that until now) and £0 for non-EU sellers.
  15. No it’s not. It’s £85k for a UK based seller or £0 for an overseas seller selling in the UK.
  16. Why not? Any overseas seller selling to the UK is required to register for UK VAT no matter how small their turnover.
  17. They can keep it! Most of them live sh1tty existences with broken marriages, constant arguing and feral children in sh1tty estates that you wouldn’t live in if you were paid to. And then when the kids have grown up the income drops to fck all. Fck them and their sh1tty little scrounging lives.
  18. Let’s hope that his comment comes back and bites him in his smug scumlord ****!
  19. It’s Section 24, not 21. I thought it was a typo in your first post. Section 21 is an eviction notice.
