  1. I know. You said PayPal would be gone from eBay in two weeks, I’m being pedantic, but it won’t 🤷‍♂️
  2. No it’s not. Buyers will still be able to pay using PayPal. And my business account has not yet been migrated to managed payments with no ETA in sight.
  3. Looks like Chards may be accepting Bitcoin payments soon. They are one of the largest coin and bullion dealers in the UK.
  4. What forks are worth claiming? I know there was BCH in Nov 2018. I think I might have some BTC on ledger then, how do I claim the BCH? Was there another BCH last year?
  5. Tell me about it! You don’t leave it at the office when you walk out the door at the end of the day. Financially I’ve done very well out of my business but I hate it pretty much everyday now. Weirdly though, although I could jack it in now and live comfortably off savings until I’m 55 when I can access a decent pension from previous employment, I’ve got that “one more year syndrome” and have done for the last couple of years 🤷‍♂️
  6. I thought it might be something to do with it being part of a batch but I wonder why the 0.000372 fee is showing in my Ledger but it doesn’t appear to have affected my Ledger balance? There are several incoming transactions with the fees showing in the received transactions in my Ledger, but my Ledger balance has not changed by these figures. The only fees that have affected my overall balance are the ones charged by Bittrex.
  7. Question on Ledger network fees: I was looking through some old transfers from Bittrex to my Ledger. If we take a LTC transfer for example, Bittrex charged a fee of 0.001 LTC for the transfer. The total LTC arrived in the Ledger minus the 0.001 fee. But the Ledger is showing another network fee of 0.000372 LTC. However my balance has not decreased by the value of this 2nd fee. Is that 2nd network fee part of the Bittrex fee they charged?
  8. Does your mum let you have older girls round to play?! 😉
  9. That’s because the £ has been getting much stronger against the $ for a few weeks now. It’s the highest its been for about 2 years.
  10. ‘Always’....’most of the time’ 🤷‍♂️ Jeez, it’s like listening to the ‘thoughtfully challenged’ member of the team trying to be liked but making a right hash of their contribution!
  11. This is hilarious, we have our own 3 stooges. @mrlegend123 @Warlord & @longgone - which one is Moe, Larry & Curly Nuck nuck nuck!! 🤣
  12. I went through that.... twice!! Thankfully they were the equivalent of a couple of ‘old bangers’ and just for a spot of fishing. Still managed to soak up cash like dirty little sponges 😄
  13. Why? You don’t know anyone on this thread personally so why do you care if they hold Bitcoin or not? What does it matter if they decide not to sell and either lose the lot or make a profit? If you’re going to peddle the same tripe as Saltylord that you’re trying to protect the innocent, how does that tally with telling people you don’t care about, who are in profit on paper, to sell their Bitcoin? You’ve made it clear you’re not buying in so it is just a load of salty waaaahhh. 🤷‍♂️
  14. Us grown ups wouldn’t give a toss if you did so knock yourself out. If it’s half as amusing as your Trump posts we’re all on to a winner 👍
  15. She did on her last sure fire bet.... Trump to be next president!! I hope nobody innocently followed that advice 😄
  16. Yet YOU think they care about what YOU think! Oh the irony 🤣
  17. Oh so you’re being the Good Samaritan, the righteous warrior defending the innocent! What a load of tripe!! If any of the handful of people that might actually read this thread make any serious financial decisions based on the content without doing their own research first, they should probably have a word with mummy and daddy about monitoring their internet access.
  18. And? What’s it to you if faceless strangers on the internet want to gamble? Why do you care? Seems a bit odd that you expend your time and effort in these endeavours. It just comes across as a bit grumpy-foldy-arm-stampy-feet-I’m-right-you’re-wrong attitude, a bit like mrcrybaby123 🤷‍♂️
  19. Translation: ”Waaaaaahhh!!!!!”
  20. As opposed to more ‘baby’ in your case! Your posts really are full of “waaaaah!” 🤷‍♂️
  21. Why do you care if you have no skin in the game? You just appear to be here to say “ner ner ner ner ner”. What does it matter to you if some adults you don’t even know make or lose some money on bitcoin? It’s all a bit childish really 🤷‍♂️
  22. Where did £950000 threshold come from? The HMRC page I linked to above doesn’t mention it and I can’t find anything on the net that refers to it.
  23. Pretty sure my understanding is right but happy to be corrected. From HMRC... ”If this amount is within the basic Income Tax bandyou’ll pay 10% on your gains (or 18% on residential property). You’ll pay 20% (or 28% on residential property) on any amount above the basic tax rate.” https://www.gov.uk/capital-gains-tax/rates
  24. Yes I think you’re right but I doubt very much the basic rate will go to 40%.
