and looks like they aren't getting their war in Ukraine either to distract from the dismal economic situation. Are Russia trolling the US? War's are no longer fought and won by machinery in the digital economy. -

I agree its unnecessarily being escalated by the west IMO. -
Have you gone for a smart meter as well ? Just wait till they start billing you more to recharge after they drained your batteries. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2022/02/10/national-grid-drain-electric-car-batteries-times-peak-demand/

You know the Met police have many operatives to catch the proles these days when it comes to fraud or crime and it doesn't involve an A4 sized questionnaire !

🤣 Everyone's a landlord or a millionaire property owner in sarth london now, innit?!
-
Not at my local bp garage sarth london, where diesel 151.9 and petrol 149.9 pricing has been anti-competitive for a couple of weeks now. Someone at the local pub told me if you only top up £50 at a time price increases don't affect you! 😁

Do you mean the government could push for war as a distraction to avoid raising interest rates? That wouldn't surprise me. Since the current MSM narrative is focused on a failing economy with high inflation with now declining GDP (stagflation). In this scenario, the middle classes will continue to become poorer. If the government loses the middle classes they'll lose their votership. -
"Economists say that fall in GDP is temporary, and it was only a small fall in the first place, let’s be clear."

I couldnt agree more. Biggest spend items in 2020/21: General economic, commercial and labour affairs: £126,587M (853% increase) Medical services £181,860M (18% increase) Old age (Mainly Pensions) £113,197M (<1% increase) Albeit in the health category we had a 500% increase in central and health services spend. If you account spending on primary care services – including GPs, pharmacy, optical and dental services – approximately 25 per cent of NHS spending goes on the private sector already. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwim1fT__ej1AhXNUMAKHc8VCGEQFnoECB8QAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fassets.publishing.service.gov.uk%2Fgovernment%2Fuploads%2Fsystem%2Fuploads%2Fattachment_data%2Ffile%2F1003755%2FCCS207_CCS0621818186-001_PESA_ARA_2021_Web_Accessible.pdf&usg=AOvVaw3bjkRpTuof7DEC7D5UETXF -
