  1. IMO prices will keep falling until the time on market falls...could be next year or later... http://www.home.co.uk/guides/time_on_market_report.htm?location=london&all=1
  2. June update...."buyersharder to find" http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/
  3. http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/HAPIndex_MAY11.pdf It's the greater number of properties on the market YoY that is the real signal. There are not significantly more buyers!! Even in London time on market is higher than last year and rising... http://www.home.co.uk/guides/time_on_market_report.htm?location=london&all=1
  4. Not that Seasonally adjusted figures are much to go by either, The fact the Yoy figure is negative says it all really.
  5. Summary The mix-adjusted average Asking Price for homes on the market in England and Wales has risen by 0.4% since last month. Monthly asking price rises in all English regions and Scotland but prices fell 0.5% in Wales. The number of properties reduced in price has increased further to 76,075 for the month of February, 76% more than in February 2010. Typical time on market has fallen 9 days to 141 days (median). Properties new to market in Feb 2011 was 40% higher than in Feb 2010 Annual change in asking prices: -0.8% 6-month change in asking prices: -0.7% see: http://www.home.co.u...ng_price_index/
  6. http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/ Interesting new market fluidity grph in comments section. Shows how tiny the turnover is now compared to pre credit crunch times.
  7. Home.co.uk's report out today says supply was up 14% Jan 10 vs Jan11 http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/
  8. Will they dive or will supply be cut off to 'break the fall'. http://www.home.co.u...Index_JAN11.pdf (oops please can a moderator move this to the house prices section)
  9. http://www.home.co.uk/asking_price_index/HAPIndex_DEC10.pdf Not as dramatic as the volatile Rightmove index but the fuller picture is that the property market is in for more pain.
  10. Sounds to me like the 'crack-up boom' is in full flight. Its all smoke and mirrors until the system falls apart.
  11. This report confirms that all the house price falls in cardiff since the 'big one' are in semi-det, flats and terraced houses... http://www.home.co.uk/guides/asking_prices_report.htm?location=cardiff&startmonth=09&startyear=2007&endmonth=12&endyear=2010 the rich seemingly immune.
  12. Home.co.uk show that data now see: http://www.home.co.uk/search/agents/ here's an example: http://www.home.co.uk/search/agents/property_statistics.htm?agent=1166 The property comments section idea would be very hard to police IMO
  13. Home Asking price report out on Monday. Expect rising Time on Market and falling prices.
  14. http://www.home.co.uk/guides/asking_prices_report.htm?county=swales&all=1 I can't see a recovery can you? A flood of distressed sales perhaps!
