The Housing Market Looks To Be Broken.
Crumbless replied to TheCountOfNowhere's topic in House prices and the economy
Makes you proud to be English when you realise we have the hardest working houses in the world, i'm choking up with pride just writing this. I'm watching Theresa May who has a slogan behind her stating "A country that works for EVERYONE". Only with a 60-70% crash sweetheart! -
I think that fits the narrative of who has been the new BTLers on the block since Gidiot was blowing his bubble.

To be honest i used to be one of the now labelled "chavs" as i was a painter and decorator, i then saw Polish builders come over to Southampton before accession where one had a visa he got by starting a limited company. He then got his mates over who he was subbing work out that was meant to be done by himself so the worker was now getting far less than a Brit would earn. Then to rub salt into the wound and totally destroy our rates the 2nd person down the chain got a group of his friends over who he subbed the work out to. Its your ilk who salivate about the fact you back this system that has destroyed British working class wages and handed jobs to your supposed "hard working East Europeans" chums. Irony is i like the Poles as they despise you pro EU, PC lefties as much as we do. So you see you very simple person who lacks the intellect to put the pieces of the puzzle together, if these people were not here working class Brits would not have had their wages decimated and would not be "drinking cider on the dole" as you claim they are.

Btl Scum Regrouping And On The Offensive. -- Merged
Crumbless replied to overlander's topic in House prices and the economy
To be fair it isn't a PR exercise as the only place on earth that will report it is Poverty118. Its just utter delusion from a bunch on non entities who seem to think they've got some importance on this planet, when even to the people who rent from them they're just a bunch of irritating w%$^&*s. You'd think they'd be thankful for 7 years of zero percent interest rates thatll no doubt run for a few more years, which bailed out their parasitic little enterprise. And the fact that S24 wasn't introduced by the 2010 govt. Its like the doctors who are currently unhappy with the govt. turfing patients onto the street to get the public onside. -

A Goodbye To All That Buy To Let
Crumbless replied to Bland Unsight's topic in House prices and the economy
You need to make him tenant-less. Surely having tenants who know they're gong to be evicted is not going to do his future rental income much good.- 1,536 replies

Fortunately the UK has not moved away from Europe so should us swivel eyed loons fancy getting groped by a security guard then have our belongings rummaged when going out the country we can still visit. In relation to your comment about "superior cultures" i find it rather ironic that you are pro EU and fail to recognise the EU has been swiftly attempting to destroy national identities and cultures in the last couple of decades so we all become Europeans. Your pro EU ilk certainly want to destroy our culture of democracy, though the nature of Bremoaners means you lack the self awareness to see this. And you really show yourself to be financially illiterate by thinking we can just allow endless low and unskilled Europeans into the country to pay for pension. Firstly they don't earn enough to cover their take of schools, hospitals and public services .... and secondly who pays the pensions of these people when they get older ... not suggesting we then get even more to come into pay for these are you? Good luck if you decide to move to Europe, though i've no doubt we'll see you back shortly when the EU falls apart and you realise life working in Euroland is a little different to having a holiday.

And if corporate build to rent is the new game in town that'll mean the new houses or more likely flats being built won't even get a BTL mortgage attached to them. Glad i won't be working in 20 years to pay the debt interest payments and cover the Housing Benefit bill. -
Government to end Help to Buy
Crumbless replied to Bear Goggles's topic in House prices and the economy
So to solve the debt crisis they created more debt. Now to solve the fact that people don't want to rent they're letting the corporations farm us plebs by allowing them to build lots more rented property. Its just business as usual. From working in Europe i believe its a myth that Europeans want to rent as 100% of Germans, Dutch and Norwegians i've worked with from the traded classes and spoken to about property want to own their house. James Pargeter, a director at Greystar, the $13bn US housing group that is preparing to build at least 2,000 rented homes on the London outskirts, said Mr Barwell’s speech was “very welcome”. Funny how there is no land shortage when a corporation with deep pockets comes along. Raise interest rates and bring in S24 overnight and the housing crisis will be resolved overnight, This comment truly sums up the insanity of UK housing- @micawber sure, but you are missing the bigger picture here. London prices increased on avg by 50K GBP in the last year. That is way over the average wage and for the rentier land inflation is their job. And far too many are living off the backs of wealth creators. Even Cameron made more in his time as PM from rent and house price inflation! What exactly is the point in doing anything in the UK when you basically turn it all over to the banks and landlords? -

Yes thats the one that kicked off Gidiots "nice little property boom". -
Better off and not as stupid as most on HPC give them credit for. The ones on 118 seem to be from a different planet though.

Sc.um of the lowest order, i'd love the banks who lent them obscene sums of money see they are playing games with the lives of the people who cover their mortgage payments. That has to be one of the most deluded ways of getting people onside that i've ever come across. Using tenants as human shields sums up the kind of humans they are. What do they thinks going to happen Bob Geldof leaving Africa to come to the aid of downtrodden leveraged landlords. Or Ms May putting Brexit talks on hold and bringing in the negotiators to appease these people who made Britain great again. S24 needs to be introduced far quicker to clear out this filth. I truly hope the stress of soon to be going bankrupt is tearing these piece of ..... apart. -

Fck me he is still begging for his £10 a month contributions, he truly is a parasite of the lowest order. Give a man a first world education and he can feed himself for a day, give him a mortgage application form and allow him to pay next to no tax on his earnings and he can feed himself for a lifetime. -
That neoliberal laissez-faire consensus seems to stop when ordinary Brits want to buy property in Asia, or even when big business wants to setup over there. See Tesco and the hoops it has to jump through to trade in India. They really are on a no lose bet with our leaders selling us out, no wonder Donald Trump is looking like a good bet.
