Anyone interested in getting £10 or £10 worth of crypto like bitcoin this bank holiday? I joined Ziglu a new fintech startup last year because I was interested in buying / investing in crypto assets like bitcoin, and their app is the easiest way to do this. Strictly speaking Ziglu is not a bank (like Monzo) but is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorised by the FCA. Anyway, they are quite new, and to help them grow, they are offering new members £10 to join this bank holiday. To get the £10 reward, after you download their app and get yourself verified, you need to spend £1 buying any of their crypto assets and after your purchase your account gets topped up with £10. The other benefit is that you can earn 5% interest on your pound sterling or bitcoin assets... Anyway, I started using them last christmas, when they were donating 25p for every £1 you spent using their debit card to FareShare, a food redistribution charity backed by school meals campaigner and England footballer Marcus Rashford... https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/saving/article-8962629/New-debit-card-launches-initiative-help-hunger-charity-FareShare-does-compare.html For the crypto purists, currently using the app you can buy and sell crypto, but you don't own your own keys, which can be a major issue for most people, so it's not like zumo... but they are working on implementing this, For newbies who want to get into crypto, its very easy to set up, another thing I like about ziglu is that you can just keep your pound sterling there for 5% interest, which is better than any uk bank right now. Pease do your own research on Ziglu, Ziglu is not a bank but is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorised by the FCA. https://******/3sVJaWb If anyone is interested you can use my referral link to get the £10 reward after you join : https://invite.ziglu.io/7HK7HJYE -

me too, hoping the SEC nonsense will be sorted, I think 2-3 years from now XRP would be a good investment. Technology wise I think ripples transaction speed are going to make a big difference... -

Has anyone signed up to this? Interesting idea, but not sure if it'll work.. This is a new currency and payment network built by ex-PayPal guys, called Initiative Q. The Q currency is currently being allocated for free if you are invited by an existing member. The idea is that if millions of people join, Q could become a leading payment network, and, according to well-known economic models, that means the value of the reward would be around $130,000. The amount you reserve decreases every day, and each member has a limited number of invites. You can use my invite link here: https://initiativeq.com/invite/BX8MG3nom (Don’t worry. No funny stuff. You just need to give your name and email and your spot is reserved). https://hub.packtpub.com/is-initiative-q-a-pyramid-scheme-or-just-a-really-bad-idea/

so the land registry prices are now listed, the original house sold for : 19/03/2018 £412,000 15 Whitehill Road, Cambridge, CB5 8LT and the new builds built in its garden sold for : 18/10/2017 £295,000 62 Elfleda Road, Cambridge, CB5 8NA 31/07/2017 £490,000 61 Elfleda Road, Cambridge, CB5 8NA I guess the guys who bought No 15 are feeling chuffed knowing they paid 38K under asking price.....

I don't think you get locked in. After you get the mortgage agreed, you can still opt for something else, but you may have to pay a fee to change your mortgage.
