  1. http://www.citylets.co.uk/research/reports/pdf/Citylets-Rental-Report-Q2-13.pdf?ref=reports Up a wee bit in Glasgow but nothing crazy
  2. If you look at the graph on this page, unemployment below 7% is actually very rare in the uk http://blogs.spectator.co.uk/coffeehouse/2013/04/margaret-thatcher-in-six-graphs/
  3. Commentators are saying that it's going to be 5 years until interest rates might go up. I'm not sure I can wait that long and don't know how I'm going to feel if prices spike again. Is it time to buy?
  4. Apologies there were referencies to both on the first page
  5. I think it's funny when people complain about immigration and emigrate as the solution.
  6. In my opinion there should be planning rules but they should be a lot looser than what they are. But while they exist they should apply to everyone, the fact that this couple built a hobbit house and look cute with their son shouldn't mean that the laws don't apply to them.
  7. If they are going to set interest rates for a long period ahead then they should disband the MPC and save some money. What the hell are their aims now, inflation is too high and all the recent surveys have shown the economy is recovering yet they want to keep easing
  8. Zero hrs contracts are a disgrace, won't be long before we are all queuing up outside workplaces each morning hoping to be thrown a bone. The only reason it's making the press now is that it is starting to creep into middle class workplaces.
  9. They had a debate about this on sky news this morning. Young woman who worked in sports direct against the woman who won the apprentice a few years back. Apprentice woman was the most arrogant childish panelist I have seen for a while. Was rolling her eyes and making faces while the young woman made her case.
  10. The money isn't going to disappear so next few months should be a record if their reasoning is correct.
  11. People seem determined to live right on the edge financial wise. Seems unnecessarily stressful to me
  12. It would be nice if he came out and gave us some advice on what to do going forward.
