They are going to have to backtrack on their idea to freeze all tax bands until 2026. Buying off the electorate is all they can turn to now. -
The problem for Labour - their MP's

My original response questioned why some bloke on the Telegraph comments section specifically mentioned Diane Abbott (with reference to her poor numeracy, not her racism) and David Lammy (no reason given because the author couldn't think of one apparently) when listing a grand total of four Labour MPs who would apparently be a disaster when in Cabinet, even though Abbott would be nowhere near it if they win a GE. No ones telling me that those two MPs they do not receive higher levels of animosity from a subset of the electorate because they are black. However, I understand that people with low self-esteem and incel types need others to attack and targeting these politicians are low hanging fruit. -

We need a website that rates how well a given own brand compares to the branded version. For multiple products I have not found an own brand equivalent that compares to the quality of the branded one— crunchy nut cornflakes being a good example! -

Why is he mentioning Abbott, she’d be nowhere near Starmer’s cabinet? A lot of hate for Abbott and Lammy from white working/faux middle class types is a bit of a recurring theme though— I wonder why?🤔 -

No one going to benefit until 2025 at any rate. On the other hand pension changes are effective immediately. -

Completely agree. Expectations are so low in general. Half the population think £40k is a mega salary. Not having a pop at the original message but £70k is chicken feed if you have to pay £1,500 a month for childcare.
