  1. I dont think many did. I don't know anyone who took their kids to be vaxxed. We didn't but all the Adults in the family did as all over 40. They tried, a lot, via school letters, but we said no. If the adults are vaxxed i didnt see any benefit of the kids who were immune to the effects of CV19 being vaxxed.
  2. You realise it will be you drafted to fight right? Not the rich folk or their kids?
  3. Pay per mile will be for all cars. There will be no distinction between ICE , Hybrid or EV. There will ne no reduction of taxes and duties on fossil fuels. In short, Fossil fuelled drivers will pay twice, so the running cost difference of an EV will always remain, until 99% of cars on the roads are EV's, then it will just be the norm.
  4. Unacceptable. We need to nuke Gaza and the Houthi's for the sake of world trade. A couple of quick genocides, show them who's boss, and get back on with our lives. Only oil should be permitted to be delayed, £2+ a litre petrol is good for Tesla sales.
  5. It was a sexism thing rather than just about the money. You can bet the farm if for a week a month Men bleed heavily out of their cocks, there would be no VAT on the product designed to help with that.
  6. It must help with the 2025 Bull run though. Will give buyers an easy in. We need to watch for the GBTC price back to trading at par or a premium to the BTC spot price. That will help too.
  7. They measure it as being in shelter but not having unlimited fags, booze, drugs, heating, entertainment and food while not working. Having free shelter and food and being a bit cold in winter is "destitution".
  8. Ditto, i was investing in Bitcoin the ethereum ETF's via my SIPP from 2018-2020. Then they killed it in the UK, as they didnt understand HODL.
  9. You can hold it via financial investments and don't have to self custody as the ETF is spot so holds actual Bitcoin 1:1. I'm doubtful the FCA will allow normies in the UK to buy it though as the Swedish ETN's (same thing as a ETF) that i have held in my SIPP since 2018 were banned for new purchases from 2021.
  10. Just imagine how you are now feeling if you sold 100% of you holdings in 2021 only a few thousand dollars away form today's prices? And spent the last three years desperately collecting what Satoshi's you could with your spare cash? Hey ho.
  11. He is anti Bitcoin, he needs to taken out, we don't want him ******ing up the 2025 bull run, he was bad for the 2017 one and thankfully we got rid of him for the 2021 one.
  12. More salty dogs on that reddit thread than our Bitcoin thread. ****** em. I'm never going back to ICE cars.
  13. I have a 2004 Siemens Stainless Fridge Freezer that has be a Shed / Garage based spare / Xmas / Beer fridge freezer since 2009. It has no problems working no matter how cold it is outside. 20 years old now and shows no signs of failing.
  14. The poor get to buy used EV's at a huge discount. This is the gift the wealthy give them, buying and swallowing the depreciation new. Anyway the poor are the 50% without the home charging ability, which is 80% what makes an EV work. Home charging.
  15. It's the ultimate family car. Large, fast, very safe, laden with Tech, cheap to run, reliable and has some of the Best ranges of any EV's. And not at a stupidly expense price, especially after tax incentives around the world. 4 Adults and luggage no issues, 2 adults 3 kids and luggage no issues.
  16. Hmmm , others somewhere have been saying this for years, oh yeah. Us !
  17. Yes, if they don't want to go bust, 2022 was an extraordinary time, huge demand and huge shortages of everything. The current rough retail guide price for installed prices is £1200 per kWp for panels and £600 per kWh of batteries. So roughly 5.1 kWp of panels (12 x 425w) and 6 kWh of batteries should be about £9720 installed. Becasue of huge disparity in wages between Sussex and N/E / N/W wages, and the huge cost of traveling and accommodation from North to South, you will never ever get Northern Installation prices down south. Expect this formula to be weighted something like £8500 up North and £10500 down South. You only really see this guide come accurate in the cheaper parts of the Midlands , Staffs, Notts, Derby , Lincolnshire, move further North it gets cheaper, to the Scottish borders move south it gets more expensive. Scotland and Cornwall are generally on par with the S/E prices. FYI Scotland has the same problem, their installs are on price parity with the South as they cant tempt the Northern installers up to them either.
  18. This is nothing. A 425w Solar Panel that we actually purchase and fitted to customers homes in February 2023 and December 2023 has dropped wholesale from £130 panel in February to £61 a panel now in early December 23, and has now dropped again to £55 a panel. In September 2022 the previous 400w model was around £70 a panel.
  19. If BMW built as many i4's a month for the UK RHD market as Tesla Built Model 3's , the wait for one would be a 2 months or less. This is more an indication of BMW's inability to scale for demand than EV sales being on their arse. There were never ever 12 month queues for replacement ICE company cars of any kind. You picked on 6 months before your change date and it just arrived. Had you been allowed to pick a Tesla 3 or Y you would have had it months ago.
  20. What's so special about what options you want in a car? the only difficult thing to get these days i can think of is an opening sunroof.
  21. Your Maths is not great. It would take a 100% drop in November for "nobody" to want them vs November 2022. Seems that 83% of the people in November 2023 vs 2022 did want them. The consensus in EV circles is that ICE Manufacturers , and Even Tesla, are holding back UK BEV sales now to push them into Q1 2024 for ZEV sales / credits to help meet the new 22% ZEV mandate (now law) that comes into force next year Jan 1st. There is no benefit for them selling more BEV's in 2023 now, so pushing BEV deliveries back to 2024 would be what any sensible car maker would do with the UK. Exactly the same thin happened Europe with VW in 2020. They could have launched the ID 3 in 2019, but delayed in to 2020 as tougher EU mandated Fleet CO2% came in in 2020 so they held back pretty much all 2019 BEV sales until 2020. Also, you know they have stopped making the RHD Model 3 from China two months ago right? As they have the new Highland model 3 coming out in January and had to retool the Gigafactory China to make it?
  22. Europe as a region , not the EU 27 , is what the article means. And that includes the UK and Norway, and Switzerland and any other county in "Europe" that isn't an EU member.
