I worked in Germany for over a year and in my experience German capitalism doesn't differ too greatly from any other type. We had people on the shop floor earning 700 euro/month and a good supply of managers on over 100k euro pa.with just as much politics, incompetence and general mayhem as any British or American company I've worked in. I found the biggest differences compared to the UK were: a foreigners opinion on anything isn't worth shit and they had an absolutely cringeworthy atitude to authority that caused great amusement among the expat Brits, Aussies, Americans.

Here's your Belgian property market update. I've just got back from holiday and the three remaining houses in the village have sold and another two new builds have started. One of the houses was horrible as it was a 1 bedroom house and 1 bedroom flat in the same building that had next door's garage in the front garden. Sold for 390k!
