  1. Nothing there says whether they currently have any Mi-24's in UN service, or if those have been returned to the country.
  2. I suppose that's possible if they've rushed the equipment back from an overseas deployment but did Ukraine have any helicopters deployed overseas? I'm doubtful. More likely it's just an ancient bit of footage from a training exercise or overseas deployment pretending to be from inside Ukraine, if not a Russian Mi-24 repainted in UN white for propaganda purposes.
  3. Since that link uses Russia Today as its source I'd say there's a very good chance that they did make it up.
  4. You sure? The 2 languages are pretty similar so unless you speak at least one to a pretty decent standard I don't see how you could know that.
  5. Presumably that's code for "we know this has happened but find anyone brave enough to come on camera and we'd be shot if we tried to film it".
  6. Something you won't see on Russian Propaganda Today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-27392074 Ukrainian speakers in the eastern region of Donetsk have started leaving the area, fearing for their safety as pro-Russian militants tighten their grip....... ....The fears are greatest amongst pro-Ukrainian activists who have spoken out against the ethnic Russians leading the drive to break away from Ukraine..... .....Their fears are well-founded. Pro-Russian militants have been filmed dragging activists into the now notorious regional government building in Donetsk city, which has been occupied by the separatists since March and has now become the headquarters of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic. There are reports that one floor of the building is used as a makeshift prison and interrogation centre. The glass entrance doors have been covered, making it impossible to see what is happening inside.
  7. Interesting point. Both camps appear to have an underlying hatred of modern Britain although their motivations may be somewhat different.
  8. Looks like the Kremlin has opened another account.
  9. The Argies were using convential dumb bombs, which are virtually useless against modern ships. When they got their hands on up to date anti ship missiles the results were somewhat different. Not 100% sure what the RAF use these days.
  10. Presumably the RAF would have something to say about that.
  11. I've started to wonder if their activities go beyond areas directly interesting them e.g. Ukraine and into other areas of British domestic affairs, for example Damik's link to the Guardian says: One need only pick a Ukraine article at random, pick any point in the comments at random, and they will find themselves in a sea of incredibly aggressive and hostile users (the most obvious have accounts created since February 2014 … but there also exist those who registered with the Guardian before the high point of the crisis) who post the most biased, inciteful [sic] pro-Kremlin, anti-western propaganda that seems as if it's taken from a template, so repetitive are the statements. Furthermore, these comments are consistently capturing inordinate numbers of 'recommends', sometimes on the order of 10 to 12 times what pro-Ukrainian comments receive. If one were to replace the references to Ukraine with references to Scottish independence or anything to do with the UK government the the above sentence would make perfect sense if applied to the cybernats and UKIP cheerleaders that dominate below the line (on the Telegraph at least). Scottish independence and destabilising the UK government both suit the Russian's interests, if it totally far fetched to suggest that they would use information warfare to further those ends?
  12. http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showuser=569 Registered as a user in 2004 and was still posting in June 2012 so I don't think the idea that he was a paid tory activist holds much water. If you'd quoted me Happy? or AbsoluteZero (amongst others) who appeared shortly before the election, spouted pro-labour/anti-tory propaganda then engineered their departure from the forum in the days following the election (including having their accounts deleted) then I think you'd probably be correct. But, there is a world of difference between domestic political parties trying to get their message out through social media in their own country and foreign governments using them as propaganda outlets to further their geopolitical ambitions. And since Errol has seen it confirmed that that US/UK governments run teams of posters to influence social media I was hoping that he could share the conclusive proof that he has of such activities.
  13. What kind of answer is that? Why would that poster have evidence to support that claim?
  14. Source, preferably not Russia Today (or similar Kremlin sponsored outlets).
  15. Top find, I was beginning to wonder if I was paranoid.
  16. Joy on the part of the unionists, dismay on the part of the nationalists, laughter from everyone else.
  17. Nope, either paid Kremlin sock puppets or useful idiots.
  18. +1. There seems to be a vast pro-russian propaganda operation in place across social media.
  19. I'm surprised that 3% were brave enough to vote against Putin's stromtroopers. Vote how you like but we know where you live.
  20. A post I made on another thread: http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=197663&page=6
  21. Erm, you're quite entitled to claim that £53,000 back provided that you're VAT registered (which you will be anyway), the only problem is that it can be a short term cash flow issue. Quite a complex area so take professional advice.
  22. Just to clarify, are you in favour of massive cuts to the health and education budgets and are you in favour of the elimination of tax credits and massive cuts to the welfare budget? . Secure tennant, same question to you.
  23. Exact opposite IMO, the successful ones are all free houses who can buy whatever beer they like and sell it at reasonable prices.
