  1. ^^ By "owner" I mean the owner of the website. Not te company claiming defamation.
  2. Nothing to worry about unless you are being defamatory on sites like Facebook. If for example, you were giving off about X company on this site, all the owner has is your username, email address and ip address. In most cases ip addresses cannot identify an individual. You may even be spoofing an ip address or be behind a VPN. Eithier way this is a silly move. For normal sites, this is simply too costly and inaccurate to become mainstream. Facebook on the other hand is a privacy disaster. That is a whole other matter...

  4. Thaxton isn't what I am looking at. Not my kind of houses at all... I have been in some and they are cheaply finished. Don't like mornington either.
  5. Thanks all. Especially to woohoo2 and carrick01 for understanding the situation! There is some great advice on here, especially for other FTB's like myself. I think we will hold off for a few months to see what happens. I've been observing and it appears(could be coincidence) that this particular builder is revising his prices every 6 months. I'll report back on any developments.

  7. I'm not renting... and don't intend to. Why would I pay someone elses mortgage instead of my own?
  8. Yes if I wait, I will likely have a smaller mortgage and be happy. However, im not getting any younger and justifying starting a family and not living in the same house is not my idea of a nice life... So to rule out the importance in timing isn't realistic for a lot of buyers. .
  9. I'm seeing just under £1200 pm for 25 years... I'm sure people have bought bigger in this postcode for less, doesn't mean it is better... Work to be carried out etc. I haven't decided what I'll do yet. However I'm not going to wait years though. I have a life to start.

  11. Ok so I can hiold off for another few months. I hope to see some reasonable drops, but am not convinced we will be in a much better place. At least int erms of new builds. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

  14. Fair enough. What (in your opinion) would be a realistic price for the kind of property I am interested in? I didn't find anything by searching xxxx Belfast telegraph in google. I haven't come across any advertising for any of this builders developments. They don't seem to do much. I will say that very little has sold it here in the last 6 months. A few townhouses and 2 or 3 detached.
  15. So you have 5 years more to wait? :-P I don't mind losing some money, I plan on staying there a long time. It's a lot I don't want to lose!
