  1. It looks lke Betfair Spain is goin way of France & Italy. No wonder share price is collapsing.
  2. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/8797993/Betfair-is-in-for-a-rough-ride-over-data-theft.html ndeed, a progress report marked "Betfair Critical Confidential" tells how "the attacker did indeed manage to copy the entire Sportex database" – the one that contains all cardholder details. The report is dated September 27, 2010. That's just six days after the company announced its "intention to list" – a statement containing Yu's explanation of how "Betfair's unique and highly sophisticated exchange platform technology is at the very heart of the company's success". t would have also been detrimental to its float. Betfair was, after all, listed on a racy earnings multiple thanks to some clever marketing that repositioned a business reliant on gamblers as a wizzy technology stock. Investors have since lost 43pc of their money. They might now wish, notwithstanding Betfair's insistence that "remedial action" had been taken, that they had heard how consultants IMR pithily summed up Betfair's technology: "The IT infrastructure has not been designed, built or maintained to best practices." in the words of their users is "Betfair Finnish"
  3. Betfair's ridiculous Premium Charge which is a 60% tax on winnings is now a reality. If you bet in ladbrokes they don't take a 60% cut of your winnings. Arrangements for the Betfair Funeral owing to it's imminent demise from a share price collapse are now being discussed at the following Facebook location. 4. Max Keiser wont be getting an in invitation back on there in the near future Why did Victoria Derbyshire get so defensive about the bank bailouts?
  5. The Chinese financial community have been setting up off the shelf companies big and small and defrauding anyone they can sell the shares to. It's exactly right to say that they cannot be trusted. In this case better to just say that gigantic empty cities are the clue.
  6. The ghost towns of China: Amazing satellite images show cities meant to be home to millions lying deserted By Daily Mail Reporter These amazing satellite images show sprawling cities built in remote parts of China that have been left completely abandoned, sometimes years after their construction. Elaborate public buildings and open spaces are completely unused, with the exception of a few government vehicles near communist authority offices. Some estimates put the number of empty homes at as many as 64 million, with up to 20 new cities being built every year in the country's vast swathes of free land. The photographs have emerged as a Chinese government think tank warns that the country's real estate bubble is getting worse, with property prices in major cities overvalued by as much as 70 per cent. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1339536/Ghost-towns-China-Satellite-images-cities-lying-completely-deserted.html#ixzz1RVHndDlY It's already a disaster if this has happened. Where are all the Chinese with the money to buy the houses going to come from? I'd love to know what Bank has taken all this concrete as security and for how much?
  7. The property does not seem to be listed as for sale on rightmove or anywhere else. If it was in fact listed as stated on here is there any way to locate the details of when it was offered for sale?
  8. I thought that there were two companies that I read about "providing liquidity" and winning all the time on betfair. One was IG the other was a Swedish form called Sporting ???. Does anyone know any more?
  9. Sporting Options went under because they seeded their own markets badly. Betfair have pumped liquidity into their markets with the use of 3rd parties that they accomodated somehow . They also funded people like Harry Findlay, Bloom and a good few others who played on credit. Betfair are just infinitely better at pumping their markets full of alleged liquidity. Who audits the bets? Are they all for real
  10. The only people really affected by this are people laying non triers and those using automated betting systems. the "500" Betfair say are involved take out more profit than Betfair do themselves. Betfair will probably copy the automated sytems for their own ends but they of course cannot offer to lay "non triers" for connections of these horses as that would be illegal and corrupt
  11. Yes I gathered that but why me in particular
  12. We lost all our money betting but please can we be allowed more credit to bet sum more
  13. Anyone know anything about these. Want to discover what someone on a self cert, interest only of £500K? would be paying nowadays
