  1. I find it very odd that people think this article is promoting gold! It's the usual BBC approach of keeping people in the dark, combined with smear tactics, while attempting to sound as if they've presented both sides of the argument. It's only right at the end of the article that they even mention the concept of physical gold, and even then it's in a largely negative context: And then their conclusion is: Meanwhile, right next to their conclusion, there is a banner that states: I suppose those Indian and Chinese central banks just like jettisoning wealth.
  2. I don't know if you've made your decision regarding this, but I very recently bought some from them, you get about six days to settle your invoice, and I just emailed them to ask if it would be okay for me to pay them in lumps of £10,000. They said this was absolutely fine, just clearly mark your invoice number on each payment. If you think about it objectively, they are likely to be quite accommodating to customers intending to buy over £10,000 worth of products!
  3. If I might ask what might be a pretty dumb question, if you are holding physical silver, and it has more inherent value than the paper price, then how do you realise this value? This isn't a troll's question, it's a genuine query.
  4. It was a bit obscure, but looking back you did put an exclamation mark at the end of it, so maybe I should have identified that it was a joke! Thanks again for the info.
  5. Thankyou for the information, after one post I'm not sure I'm qualified to advise others yet, but I will definitely post anything of value that I come across.Incidentally, you said you had problems selling gold. Could I ask how much you were trying to sell?
  6. Hi all, I've got a couple of questions that maybe someone could help me with. Firstly, I have seen some information regarding the first of these questions, but I just wanted to gauge the opinion of people currently holding PMs. What percenage of your savings do you hold in silver and gold? Secondly, does anyone know of a good place to sell silver coins? Somewhere in the north or Midlands would be preferable. I've found a good place to sell gold sovereigns, but I haven't managed to find anywhere that gives a comparably good price for silver coins, it all seems to be scrap price. Thanks in advance.
