  8. Recently in MK we have had a spate of buses not charging for journeys due to the ticket machine being broken. This is happening with about the same frequency as services used to get cancelled. Presumably the council are threatening to take away their licence if they don't stick to the agreed timetable. I doubt that the operator would realise that a free bus service is better publicity than no bus service on their own...
