Dr John does seem a little naive with a lot of things especially holding the WHO on some sort of pedestal. I watched the following video about the head of the WHO Tedros the other day and from the limited research I did off the back of it I couldn't argue with the main thrust of what this person said about him and the WHO as an organisation - anyone want to defend either of them and rubbish the video?

The people circulating that original message on WhatsApp, Facebook and Reddit that I posted haven't even heard zerohedge - I never said they had? The "normal" people who I have seen starting to discuss such things as the origin of corona and the bigger picture in terms of whats going on range from nurses and doctors to builders and freelancers so I would count them as a more 'normal' cross section of people than on this doom porn site ? Oh and for clarification, I personally posted that link to a zerohedge article separately as an aside as it's been in the back of my mind for a while.

I'm not saying things can't jump species what I'm saying is specific to how this corona crap has progressed... China went from denying and silencing people over corona early on to locking down multiple cities larger than London for 6+ weeks VERY early on in this AND had more than enough supplies and measures ready to go. However nearly every other country in the World spent weeks thinking it will be ok / it was just another Asian flu thing. How did China KNOW so early on what the World was dealing with yet the rest of the World was caught cold? China knew and / or withheld information about what we were all about to deal with in terms of Corona and the WHO were either incompetent or complicit with their refusal to label corona as a pandemic early on. Whether this was because they created corona or knew it was going to circle the World and they had the ultimate 'insider trading' info I don't know but nothing I'm saying seems far fetched to me? The fact that main st seems to be circulating such things is also very interesting to me as if enough people think they have been lied to / set up by our Government etc then mad max is closer than we feared! I am not sure us plebs will ever know the real story but as ever watch what they do not what they say ?

Well done for getting back. I saw weeks ago that the Spanish authorities were not taking it seriously at all and started making plans for myself, ex wife and 3 children to get back ASAP. She thought I was mad but relunctantly agreed to book a flight for 26th then after countless arguments agreed to bring it forward to this week. I got back into UK via Channel tunnel early Tuesday morning and she is on a flight this evening with the kids. Our friends there thought I was mad for giving up the sun months before we were due to leave as well as her for agreeing to come back but no so much as of this morning when all public buildings have been closed in Almuencar and worryingly supermarkets due to 'potential spread'! So it seems the town next to where we were in Spain has just issues orders to close all public buildings like sports centres etc BUT seems like supermarkets are also being closed as they can cause the spread etc ? My wife is due to drive to the airport with the kids in 1 hour!!!!

Thanks. I'm back in the UK now and wife and kids are due back on a plane tomorrow. My ex wife (only been separated a few months) thinks I'm mad but agreed to come back early with the kids once she saw the Italy quarantine measures. Spain is so behind on things I think they will be worse than Italy in a week or 2 max! I'm also certain once triage kicks in non Spanish won't even make it into the hospitals Next difficult decision is one of us taking the kids full time whilst the other self isolates for the next 2 or 3 weeks to see if things play out as we all fear on here. I will probably be the one self isolating as again she thinks I'm nuts and she won't move in with me and the kids due to recent separation which I totally understand in a normal situation but this is a once in a 100 years pandemic and as we don't have any other real family I can't think of a better way to give the kids at least one parent after all this. I can't believe 3 months into 2020 I'm having to type stuff like the above!

UK seems to be following the same as Spain and others to me however Spain are now a day AHEAD of this previously exponential growth adding over 450 yesterday! Ok so this chart should be handy for those looking to keep a rough check what exponential growth looks like for this virus. The image was taken from a Spanish Twitter user where cases rose by 66 in a day yesterday and total now 222 as of 13:00. I think cases are MUCH higher in Spain though as testing is not happening much by all accounts...
