  2. So in 1915 people were much worse off - was this due to the rampant social welfare state or runaway govt spending? You seem to be selective in your thinking and choosing only to see evidence that supports your particular bias. But I don't disagree entirely either with your analysis.
  3. Sounds like Mussolini's classical Corporatism: the alignment of business and state interests, Imperialism and social conservatism.
