  1. http://breakingnews.iol.ie/news/story.asp?...190&p=y8x8y7896 Average house prices are increasing at their fastest rate in six years, according to the latest house price index published by the ESRI and Permanent-TSB. The two organisations said average prices had increased by 3.5% in the first three months of this year, the fastest rate of increase since the same period in 2000. This means that prices have risen by 12.1% in the past year. The average price paid for a house in Dublin has now reached €384,000, compared to €249,000 in the rest of the country.
  2. You can own a house in Bratislava and work in Vienna. Even the Seamaster wouldn't last too long in the North sea
  3. ISLAND: A land mass, especially one smaller than a continent, entirely surrounded by water.
  4. In some ways, it is. Over reliance on construction was a Japanese phenomenen precrash. Can you explain the graph SM and why it couldn't happen here or in Spain or Ireland?
  5. Ahem, there is renting, cheaper than OO, if youve got the discipline to invest.
  6. I love that graph, sent it to all my irish mates with no commentary. They cant say I didn't tell them. Am i right in thinking that HPI has never fallen below zero in the US as a whole Bubb?
  7. Do they get LR data before anyone else??? Or is it just advertising for a website? Please forgive my cynicism, I am paranoid

  13. Rubbish, there are 17 on rightmove available from the developer, and a good few being flipped on as well.
  14. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/action/publicsite.PropertySearch Al least 17 in City Lofts available from the developer, and others being flipped on as well. Type in NE1 and new homes to count the 17. All properties to see the rest What happens if they don't shift? The developer isn't gonna pay interest for ever.
  15. Not as easy to buy and sell but.... Or put in a vase, or in your pocket or on your chicks finger or in your belly. They are getting smaller though......
  16. I am much more confident that ireland will crash before the UK. Maybe its because the UK controls its interest rates. Maybe its the 11 times salary multiples. Maybe its that ireland has never had a crash.
