  1. ECB are going to raise, they are this week too aren't they? Then there will be 7 years of pestilence, famine and flood. 100% Guaranteed
  2. Anecdotal maybe, but I've spotted a huge number of price drops in Ashford, Kent today. Last two weeks not a lot has happened then a 4 bedder turned up from being sold to available for the second time in two months and is 4 beds for under 100k in Ashford. The house is in a dive of an area but the psychological impact this must of had this week is remarkable, I've spotted 5 10k price reduction on the first 3 pages of rightmove alone. Panic phase could well be on its way.
  3. Thats a guide price for the auction, not indicative of the area. Please remain factual when posting, saves a lot of time and reduces outsides claiming we spin stuff to be worse than it is. Thanks
  4. This could be bad, like 911 x 100 bad Only one person could possibly save us.... Arec Baldwin
  5. Top left, chocolate cake iced ring.... there's the culprit, went to pick one up and saw the price.
  6. Humorous as the title suggests it can be looked upon that people are still stupid enough to pay for things rediculously overpriced.... I was in Tesco's yesterday, my girlfriend who has a hankering for Krispy Kreme donuts (but no figure to suggest it) thought it a great idea to get one. So did I, until I saw that there were £1.20 each £1.20 for a donut, in Tescos, inflation you can see straight through obviously. I said, 'You're bonkers, £1.20 for a donut' To which another customer who was putting several in a bag looked up but passed no comment. At the other corner of the store at the bakery I say a jam one made by Tesco's for 14p. Oh and whilst I remember, M+S have outlets at some BP garages, £6 for 250g of mince.
  7. Adjusted for inflation? Probably the same as all the others preceeding. That's real inflation mind, not the stuff we get quoted.
  8. After recently moving to Brighton from Ashford I can say that the houses are more expensive here but the flats are cheaper. So is the beer. I can see the prices of flats diving completely due to the sheer number of them but houses not so much.
  9. About £66 for every man woman and child on earth.
  10. Especially if the performance in the far east is anything to go by. BTW: UTC BLAH BLAH - IT'S ALL BLACK!
  11. I'm sorry Mrs Wilson but I think that might very well be a load of tosh. My car idles at 900rpm, so you are saying that at 2500rpm at 30mph my car will burn less?
  12. Not when it's waste oil it's not. I drove to Lille and back from Brighton on a tenner as I make my own biodiesel Engine started playing up halfway across the channel though
  13. I have this argument with people who use their credit cards in bars. They think £4.25 is expensive, well add a years interest on that....
  14. Blimey, I hope that wasn't readily available on your hard drive The source image that is
  15. Martin Armstrong was the correct answer: http://www.contrahour.com/contrahour/2006/...n_armstron.html
  16. Didn't offend me, the world is far too PC these days.
  17. Looks like Ex council system built if you use the birds eye view on aboutmyplace.com All the properties in the block are interlinked. Not saying that's the reason just an observation.
