I have been on this thread for.......months and months, and you turn up in the last 5 minutes and demand that a poster who has contributed to this debate for considerably longer than I takes his comments elsewhere?

Again, I ask, what name do you go by on the other forum?. You seem either unaware of ccc aka coppercrutches views or your are indeed a supporter.

If you are genuine, lets play a game.

What views of ccc aka coppercrutch do you support?

Tell us this o wise one?

I joined here in 2009, I have a life so am not a prolific poster but I can read. My opinion of other posters i have never met is irrelevant. This used to be a great forum with insightful, intelligent and mostly good humoured contributors. All I recently read on this thread is you and your sidekick attacking other posters, not just one, and derailing the thread. It's  dull and tedious. Take it elsewhere.

Cracking, but, if you're being honest, why did you say Black people are more athletic than caucasians, but less intelligent - I can quote for reference...

You're a busted flush, unless, you think, you have diminished intellect as have part African in you (remembering where Jamaica has it's black roots from).

Seriously, do not engage with this man unless you see what he really, truly believes ("all african countries are shitholes and the reason is because they're run by africans...")

    Caveat Emptor.

We're catching and smoking them out, piece by piece...

It's mongrel by the way, not mongrol.  I think you're inferring something else in that...

You really are a tiresome bully. Why don't you take your personal attacks off topic and leave this thread to the brexit debate?

Lots of people are in it for the "mad gainz" but it's the technology that is the really interesting part for me. We have the potential for near instant, feeless transactions and smart contracts without the need for a middle man. It could all amount to nothing, but following cryptocurrencies has given me hope that we can emerge from the next crash with a system that is less corruptible.

I'm convinced the middle man won't allow this to happen. Cryptos will always be associated with money laundering and the dark web.

  4. This may have been answered already, but can someone give me their vision of a fully functioning global crypto currency in the future? Will it replace fiat? Some on here have made large gains and are true believers. At the moment the reality is you can only spend these gains by cashing out into fiat which defeats the point of cryptos. Will the dollar be replaced as the reserve currency for instance?

im in this boat, i got quite a nice deposit ready but in september new max loan to income mortgage regulations hit reducing the amount a bank can lend me, at this point im probably better of buying a house with cash, credit cards and a lone the restrictions are so tight.

Is that a UK regulation? 1st I've heard of it. Is that the trigger we need?

I often see people with the lowest income spend more and save less.  Not just because they cannot afford to save, but because any saving in their position is unlikely to give  any material results.  I.e. they may avoid coffees and avocados all they like but they will still never afford to buy a house, as they watch the house prices increase much faster than their savings.

Exactly. Without hope there is none.

She's starting on the Trump playbook now I see.. blaming the Mexicans EU for everything.

Mind you, who can blame her? The UK loves a pantomime villain and 52% have been hoodwinked with the nonsense emanating from the British press about Europe and the EU for years.

You must have missed the EU's treatment of Greece. It has gone way beyond its original remit and now resembles a totalitarian state run by Germany. Or have I been hoodwinked too?

That was my first thought however it seems unless you follow a specific route, I.e, getting a number of quotes, a series of letters (Shelter guidance) you open yourself up to potential problems.

Threaten to do it anyway. You can try and claim rent back through the small claims court but that will take a while.

The bastards have finally realised I have not paid the last two renewal fees and want £180 off be for two emails!

When you say renewal, do you mean sign another 12 month AST? If you go to a rolling contract with 1 month notice will cost you nothing.

  10. If the agent can't make money out of the tenant then they will have to charge the landlord. I can't see agents doing regular inspections for nothing and all the other admin. I'm sure landlords will try and pass the cost to the tenant, if they can't then those with the smallest margins should surely sell. I expect there will be a cap on the max tenants can be charged.

  11. What are the terms of Scottish independence. If Brexit has taught us anything it's important to clarify what leaving the union means. Do the Scots take some of the national debt? How much? Do they keep the pound and can they print it? Which industries do they keep? All the oil fields? Can Scots remain in England or do they need to apply for visas? It's not that straightforward.
