  1. So Ben was right, with Asda and Poundland mere exceptions to the Official Rule ?
  2. Has Ben read the official Rule Book ? http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/31/5112
  3. Market seems somewhat inappropriate. Isn't it a one-way system of seigniorage ? P.S. I assume you are not referring to the philosophy of standardised weights and balances ?
  4. All "UK money" comes from the Royal Mint. Promissory notes (promises of UK money) come from the Bank of England
  5. Indeed, how much weight and importance will be given to that signature ? (Predicated by the NINO)
  6. You seem to be jumping to conclusions. I was merely pointing out what is happening (and has recently happened) with the tax collectors regarding a person's legal status . It is an easier job to collect tax from employees(whether state, corporate or SME) than self-employed.
  7. The former choice you gave is already being strongly resisted by the decision makers, and the outlook suggests even stronger resistance.
  8. At least you managed to recover that one.Try to imagine what that little girl will throw them at when she is 18 years old.
  9. Avoid all and any ambiguity in the wording of that contract, would be my free advice see Treseder-Griffin v Co-operative Insurance Society Ltd for details.
  10. "Anarchism is the most irrational, anti-intellectual notion ever spun by the concrete-bound, context-dropping, whim-worshiping fringe of the collectivist movement, where it properly belongs." - Ayn Rand 1971
  11. A book by Kevin Kelly called "Peaceable Kingdom Lost" documents the period albeit with an american indian slant. (There are some who suggest that american indians lived an anarchist life. For example, those "injins" were of the opinion that no-one could own land )
