  1. love the way you get banned when you say what's bleedin' obvious if you step inside an estate agents or surveyors. the market is still strong whatever people say on here, at least in London. prices are high but properties are selling. Commercial property demand ( fro office space) is as high as its ever been and even the industrial market is seeing high demand for units, despite the strong pound. this isnt VI spin or ********, its true, i know it as i see it every day - vacancy levels are at their lowest since 2001 and rents are growing still. new developments are coming on stream and ta
  2. ooops. seriously though, Moneyweek are not v reliable. they also promote those stupid "get rich quick" schemes in their pages all the time which makes me doubt anything they say.
  3. this site doesn't have a shred of credibility left as this thread shows it for what it is. a load of old rubbish.
  4. this is true. Wouldn't touch one of those new- slums- of- Prescott with a bargepole. titchy tiny rooms a mouse wouldn't live in. crap construction. no local services apart from perhaps a bar to drown your sorrows (why do they alwasys think bars and restaurants are the only things anyone wants near their house?) all in all load of rubbish.

  6. Our recession LMAO they don't come much better than that. What planet are you on? Oh, sorry , i forgot, you made millions selling months ago at the errrr, peak which hasn't happened yet
  7. ..........or you and your mates emigrating maybe (we live in hope).
  8. i think so too. it's been so widely predicted that although the evening standard will print its usual "HOME LOANS SHOCK" front page (let's have a bet as to what the actual wording is shall we?!), no one will be surprised. Another rate rise will follow in March, as i predicted several months ago, thereafter the trend will be downwards.
  9. This thread just demonstrates the pedantic level of self, single issue point obessed garbage most posters on HPC seem to have sunk to. And now they just argue with each other. HPC'ers are turning on each other more and more as they realise what they hope for is not coming true any sign too. Three years on since HPC started, and we're no where near the beginnings of a crash. Explains much about the bad tempered nature of this thread.
  10. talk about relocation relocation RB's posts are Exageration, Misquotation!
  11. Local authorities usually don't like building on industrial estates , even if surrounded by housing, as surprise surprise, many of the locals have jobs on the estates and they like to preserve areas for employment use even if they fall vacant. look at the local plan, that will tell you.
  12. PPS Thread is v misleading, Halifax didn't say everyone was getting burnt.
  13. why the fark do people think they have the right to make a lot of money without working for it. this makes me so cross. PS people generally lower their prices for a sale before Chrissy if their pad's been on the market since late summer, this is entirely normal. PPS Though i have noticed an awful lot of £1.5m+ houses on the market recently around where i live.
  14. i spose so , but the BBC have been running "skint" for some time, haven't they? first of many no doubt.
